Shamelessly bumping up my own post. So, did Donnie help Brittney get out of town, or something else? AFAIK this remains a possibility, LE hasn't denied it and the her cell phone last pinged there. The last searches were centered around the truck stop.

Exactly. They shame the victims. They lead the victims into relations with other victims to satisfy their own sick fantasies and then they use that against all of the victims. It's not surprising that this has come to a head for them as the victims (if in fact DW is a victim, if BW is a victim) have reached their young adulthood. Both BW and her brother are at just the right age when they begin to realize that this is not how the whole world operates. They may have had different responses to that realization. DW may have continued in it while BW may not have. They have reached the age where their involvement would be considered consensual by LE (unless one were outright raped) even if the dynamics of the situation cause them to continue to act as victims would act (i.e., submissive). They would be both victims and perps.

I believe that BW's brother could be a perp and a victim. If this has been going on for years it's possible that he was forced to do things to children at the hands of the adults. Brittney could be the same. Both a perp and a victim.

I know 2 boys (14 & 15) who are both listed as Perps by Dept. of Human Services in 2 different unrelated cases. This is not public as they are minors.

First boy was abused by adult. His mom had no clue until she found him having sex with younger bro. It was turned in and he is listed as a perp and was court ordered to receive counseling. Mom said if he stays out of trouble he won't be on Adult Sex Offender Registry. Mom cooperated and both he and bro are doing great.

The other boy abused by adult & other children. He has had so many victims it would make your head spin! He was having sex with friends (3 siblings at 9 -10 yrs.) when the 2 sets of parents were doing drugs. I have fought hard to ensure he is not alone/around children on school bus, etc. (His grandparents are in denial.) I had a court subpoena about the 5 victims. It was cancelled because he did something that overroad abuse to my 5 victims. LE wouldn't tell me his charges. He went to juvie and received intense therapy. He can't be around 5 victims & can never be alone with his siblings.

In my state, if a child is older than 10 & victim is 3 yrs. younger it is sex abuse. (I guess it is called playing doctor otherwise.) Children can be abused by older children...not just adults. Please start talking to kids at early age about ANYONE/EVERYONE to keep them safe.
I know of several cases involving siblings/step siblings too. I am sure that was going on in this family.

Sex abuse opens a door for which young children are not ready emotionally or physically. Continual abuse without help skews their thinking/feeling.

I think DW was victim as child...now is adult perp.

He posted that one of the charges against DW has been dropped, but he didn't say which one.

I dont think incest was dropped because they either are or are not related! I dont think that changed!

it ridiculous! I've been reading them all night (and this morning)....I noticed on one of the threads that the one mainly sticking up for the fam deleted all her posts. They are still there in the other one, though She also outed the named of victim...sick family! Man, I'm hoping BW just RAN!!! She's got a lot to run from and becoming a mother shines a new light on things :-/

What a tragedy for those in this family that are desperately reaching out for help to find BW. Everytime they think they are making headway they get knocked back down by some new development that gets released. I don't know if this latest arrest has anything to do with BW's disappearance and I will not speculate but it was already difficult to get support from the community and now, this makes it even more difficult. There are those that will support them no matter what. This is just sad.

We can't (and shouldn't!) sleuth minor victims but go back to the definition of incest upthread and that makes it pretty clear. Cousins are not included in the definition.

I agree! It is ridiculous and sick!

But, I'm not so sure that we've seen anything that would indicate that BW had seen the light. JMO
