it ridiculous! I've been reading them all night (and this morning)....I noticed on one of the threads that the one mainly sticking up for the fam deleted all her posts. They are still there in the other one, though She also outed the named of victim...sick family! Man, I'm hoping BW just RAN!!! She's got a lot to run from and becoming a mother shines a new light on things :-/
No wonder these families have physical altercations at holiday events!

Was it DW that was hit by a pipe or something at Thanksgiving and needed stitches (which he didn't get)???

What Minor victim?

I just meant that the minor victim(s) could possibly be a cousin or cousins and that's why the incest charge was dropped, but I didn't want to sound as if I were trying to identify a victim. So, generally speaking... cousins are not included in the definition.

Well I think we now know why it was so hard getting help form the ppl that live there,

I think there are four types of ppl here in this community.

One type hasnt heard anything about this whole story and acts surprised when you mention it. They haven't heard one word about BW or any of this family, ever.

Another type has heard some but doesn't really care, regardless, and even more so if they know about the circumstances surrounding the uncles and BW's brother but probably don't know anything about that because they are only concerned about their little bubble.

The third has heard everything and probably once cared about what has happened to BW. They may have even been shocked into action knowing that a young woman disappeared without a trace in their very own backyard. However, since the details about the sexual abuse charges against the uncles has been made public they have lumped everyone in this family into the same category. I have even heard people call them "trash" to my face as I have tried to pass out fliers. That turned my stomach almost as much as hearing about the acts these men are accused of committing.

The fourth type realize that they aren't supporting what these men did. They aren't even supporting a particular lifestyle that anyone in this family may or may not be living. They are supporting one thing and that is the effort to find BW, whether she ran away and is living her own life now or whether she is in hiding for her life, or find out the truth about what happened to her so that justice can be done.

Is it possible they thought he and the victim were blood relatives but have since identified the victim and found this not to be true?
Cousin perhaps? That isn't considered incest in Alabama.

It is my understanding that there is more than one victim under the age of 16. I don't think we know who those victims are nor should we discuss them. I do believe I know who one of the victims is based on comments made by a family member on another sight but I don't think anyone should be discussing that here. But there are obviously other victims. Does anyone know how many?

Which is sickening to me.

Oh ok i thought we had named someone !

I think maybe the paternity of one of the victims maybe changed?
Is that possible to make him not a relative lol

OMG i never was so confused!:banghead:

What Minor victim?
The supposed minor victim was named on the News FB last night. The posts were made by an extended family member. I think the posts are all gone now.

I am sure Fox deleted them! I was online during posting and couldn't believe the things posted publically!

In Alabama you can marry...and have sex with cousin. This would be legal if consenting adults.

If DW abused a younger cousin then it could result in rape/abuse charges but not incest charges. Does that make sense?

Still sick in my mind but true by the letter of the law.

Yup!
But didnt LE know this when they charged him?
Wouldnt they know how they were related?

And i have a question!

Isnt it INCEST if he raped her? That is not consenting adults!

This time includes Incest.

Perhaps additional evidence was presented that warranted the change in charges to include incest and therefore the judge decided to put him back in jail until the trial concludes. He could have revoked his bail and therefore his bond would be no good. I guess that's how it works.
