BOTH SET OF CHARGES ARE STILL SHOWING. As we seen with DW if one of the charges had been lowered to SECOND degree than the FIRST degree charges wouldn't be showing anymore.

If these are additional new charges then the ones on 6/19 remain and the new ones would be additional separate charges. It's not uncommon. In serial killings a person can be charged with murder/rape, in the varying degrees, multiple times and each would carry a separate sentence upon conviction.

Would you believe your son was a child molester? I would have to be shown video evidence i think before I allowed myself to believe it. Therefore I would want to bail him out etc.

She did not stick up for donnie or the others that i know of but were just as shocked as everyone else re the RSW and DK arrests.

Donnie she seemed to believe had something to do with brittneys disappearance.

I don't know how much or how little BW was involved in all of this. I don't know who knew and who didn't but I can tell you that there are those in this family that appear to be as blindsided by all of this as we have been.

I am sure they are. Child molestation is generally kept secret by those who do it. They don't say "hey mom, you know I prefer little children to adults" or "Dad, you gave me the birds and the bees lesson but now can you tell me about raping kids? It is what I am into"

The family is often the last person to know, sexual habits are rarely discussed beyond the level of straight or gay. And those aren't deviant, just different norms. For sure we don't tell our mom what we did with our boyfriend etc. and child molesters don't either. They deny deny deny if there is ever a question and any parent is going to believe the denial over the reality unless there were prior incidents of behavior. At least at first

I have not heard one public statement where CW has taken the side of any of these men. I would like to know what she thinks about her son being arrested but, like most of you, I think she would deny her son could do this without seeing concrete evidence to prove otherwise.

My initial thoughts concerning them wanting BW to know that she wouldn't be charged with anything had to do with possible drug activity or the traffic warrants. I also thought maybe the family thought she could be charged with something if she was found alive and just left on her own, causing LE to expend countless resources searching for her, I honestly don't know.

I would definitely agree that BW's father has more insight and a closer view into the dynamics of this family. I do lend creedence to his statements. I was speaking concerning what has been said in official public statements by CW. I can not speak to what she may have said in private, on websites or blogs or to others within this family.

Now BW is being accused of crimes by familial association? This site gives you the protection to say things are just your opinion, but seriously! For you who are now accusing BW: I hope to God no one in your family ever does anything wrong because then I guess you'll be guilty, too.

I was going to clarify some things, but now I'm just sickened by the mock judge and jury here. I'm sure this post will be immediately reported and deleted and I'll be suspended. Fine. I'm convinced now that those who are truly interested in finding BW and bringing her home to her loved ones will continue to support that cause. The ones (maybe just one, maybe more) who appear to find pleasure in the tragedy that is unfolding for some innocent people (believe it or not, not everyone related to BW is guilty of a sex crime!) can carry on without me.

Did anyone screen shot the comment made by KH, the one describing what a sicko DH was? The reason Im asking is that it read to me like "DH was a sicko and made kids do terrible things, instead of saying what he did to them was terrible". KWIM?

I believe every child in this family, going back to when Brit was a child have been victimized. LE said she is not a victim in THIS case.

In my mind she is a victim, no matter what she has been involved in. Her thinking is skewed. It appears to be the same for her brother.

Many of these perps look normal on the outside, are community involved.. coaches, mentors, etc. Many have families and wives who do not know. Hindsight is 20/20. I feel deep compassion for Chessie at this point. And KH, even if her posts made my head want to explode, is obviously deeply troubled herself.

I agree with Zeaux here. There is no proof that BW committed any of the crimes she has been accused of here. This is ridiculous. There are those here that are assuming that everyone associated with these men in any capacity are criminals themselves. You may not say it directly but that is the hint you are perpetuating by your comments.

I know of several members of this family that look for BW everyday. They have exhausted every resource they have trying to find her. They have pleaded and begged for the support of the community. Even some have remained silent about the accusations thrown at them by others and focused on remaining positive in their search but have now begun fighting back because the comments have gone too far. Honestly, some people are just hateful.

Come on guys, we're never going to help find Brittney if this forum gets locked down.

I think everyone has good intentions but we need to remember some things. First off, this is a victim friendly site and Brittney IS a victim, NOT a suspect.

I know that good sleuthing means to look at all angles but we need to remember that Brittney's friends and family read this site. Brittney is somebody's daughter, sister and mom. Choose your words carefully and have some tact.

If Zeaux or anyone else is offended maybe we just need to take a step back, collect our thoughts, and IF we decide to post them, make sure that we're being considerate of other people when we do.

I know we haven't been given a lot of factual info in this case but I think we need to start back at the beginning, figure out what we DO know, potential search areas, etc.

I know I'm not a mod but I love Websleuths, I really like all of the posters here, and I REALLY want to help find Brittney and bring her home! Her sweet baby girl needs her!
