Great post Lovemyhuskies! I dont think anyone here means to offend the family or Zeaux. This is a discussion thread. There is also a support thread. But I agree, when posters become offended, we need to take a step back.

Come on guys, we're never going to help find Brittney if this forum gets locked down.

I think everyone has good intentions but we need to remember some things. First off, this is a victim friendly site and Brittney IS a victim, NOT a suspect.

I know that good sleuthing means to look at all angles but we need to remember that Brittney's friends and family read this site. Brittney is somebody's daughter, sister and mom. Choose your words carefully and have some tact.

If Zeaux or anyone else is offended maybe we just need to take a step back, collect our thoughts, and IF we decide to post them, make sure that we're being considerate of other people when we do.

I know we haven't been given a lot of factual info in this case but I think we need to start back at the beginning, figure out what we DO know, potential search areas, etc.

I know I'm not a mod but I love Websleuths, I really like all of the posters here, and I REALLY want to help find Brittney and bring her home! Her sweet baby girl needs her!

I agree 100%. I haven't been on WS for very long but have loved every second being here. I am a champion for the cause of justice and there is not a person here that wants justice for all the victims more than me. I am also a fighter for the rights of an individual to believe as they see fit and to live as they see fit so long as it doesn't trample on the rights of others.

I have already started at the beginning again. There is serious evidence that BW made it to Styx River. As to who drove her, I have my assumptions but I think we need to seriously look at two people, DK and DH. There are no definitive facts concerning BW, directly. If she made it to Styx River then how did her phone last ping near Grand Bay? I do believe that DH's suicide had something to do with BW's disappearance. The sex abuse/sodomy/incest charges, its possible, that BW was a victim of those at some point in her life. BW is not being hid by LE. To be honest with you, I hold out hope of finding her alive but I think we should be searching for a body.

I see BW as a victim. I see DW as a victim to some extent and a possible perp in another. LE, especially around here, would not bring charges unless they feel they can convict.

There is nothing that leads me to believe that LE is actively looking for BW. The announcement at the bottom of the page is a standard statement that LE and news agencies give with any missing person's case.

I agree that someone knows exactly where she is, unfortunately, we don't know if that person(s) is dead or alive. As to the rest of what you said, I can not comment because I don't know whether its true or not. One thing is certain, my support in certain family members and in the search to bring BW home is unchanged and unfazed by this latest development.

I never want to disparage our LE officers here, my brother was an officer and I have a cousin who was a capt with state LE, but, NO, it is not at all odd to me, living here all these years, that they are not actively searching for BW and I will leave it at that.

And then we haveWWH that says her and the boys where with him that night.

And im trying to remember who said his phone didnt ping...

So if he didnt take her and WWH was with him maybe he stayed home and WWH drove her there?

Zeaux, now that a mod has come in and cleaned up some of the posts and has asked others to do so themselves, I would hope that you would share your thoughts, clear up some issues as you had intended. I think she was with DH and either he or someone else drove her to the truck stop!

On a similar note, I thought I had read one article in MSM that finally asked if Brittney's case is connected to the relatives cases (as opposed to if she was a victim of the relatives) and I could swear their answer was along the lines of "No comment". I will see if I can go find it.

Did anyone screen shot the comment made by KH, the one describing what a sicko DH was? The reason Im asking is that it read to me like "DH was a sicko and made kids do terrible things, instead of saying what he did to them was terrible". KWIM?

I believe every child in this family, going back to when Brit was a child have been victimized. LE said she is not a victim in THIS case.

In my mind she is a victim, no matter what she has been involved in. Her thinking is skewed. It appears to be the same for her brother.

Many of these perps look normal on the outside, are community involved.. coaches, mentors, etc. Many have families and wives who do not know. Hindsight is 20/20. I feel deep compassion for Chessie at this point. And KH, even if her posts made my head want to explode, is obviously deeply troubled herself.

Actually, LE did say that they see no evidence that points to foul play in BW's disappearance.

This early announcement by LE has held vital funds from becoming available for the search for BW and has left it largely up to the family and community to fund it. This could also be why LE is not actively looking for her. They may consider her just a "runaway".
