Not that Baldwin County LE is perfect, but they did forensic testing and determined he did shoot himself. Add to that her phone never pinged in Fairhope.

My initial report that MWK was with WWH when she found DH was incorrect. A friend of WWH's was with her and made the call to 911.
I don't see this as sleuthing anyone, still just trying to figure out how this may or may not be related to BW's disappearance.

Yeah, that is crazy, I've never heard of someone doing that. 2 bullets only loaded at all times, either she was an excellent shooter or only expecting to use it at any time on a one to one confrontation-or both! I don't buy the fact that she had it for protection against ex bf's/bf. Sounds more like protection dealing with thugs and such and possible large amounts of money/drug transactions.

Thanks! I agree with everything you said in your response! CW said she carried it for protection against ex bf when asked by reporter. I'm sure she wasn't comfortable saying for drugs, etc.

Forensic testing, I would have a second autopsy. I can't say it enough, I just don't believe this. Who is to say that this entire scene wasn't staged. After he was dead, anyone could have sent texts from his phone or called numbers...
I wish there was a manuscript from LE, actual statements about all this. Where is this verified insider that was reporting, but has stopped? Maybe he could help..
Btw, what makes someone a verified insider?

The gun was 25 caliber...belonged to BW...

I and some others thought it was odd that a big old man like him would use such a small gun...surely if you shoot yourself you want to get the job done... That might have been all he had...or????

And...why do it in the family vehicle...another problem for them...

Not sure of the gun except it was a .25 Caliber pistol. Many small pistols (like derringers) are only one or two shot (the kind small enough to keep in a purse.)

Do you all remember this info from Zeaux? It's post #541 on link. I wonder who didn't tell LE they had talked to BW?

Our list of characters was short back then...

"The only thing I know is they did get her phone records and she placed some calls after leaving her mom's house. One of the people she called is one of the people listed in the list of 'characters'. I was reading thru all the fb posts of WWH earlier and she posted a statement (6/4) ... she states that she looked at DH's phone, he talked to BW 7pm Thursday.

Maybe she didn't divulge this to LE and they found out thru the records because WWH deleted it.

I know this has been hashed out several times already...
Her messing with the phones seems like a huge red flag to me.

I can see WWH wanting to delete some picts of herself in an inappropriate "position" that were probably on DH's phone but for her to want to get to BWs so badly...that she "tried hard" to get to. Somethings not right here.

It sounds like she is as confused about her facts as I am about her lies! or is it the other way around?

Her gun was a 25 caliber Raven and had a clip. The clip holds 6 rounds. They are an inexpensive handgun. She could have found a used one for $50 bucks or so.

I was surprised that DH used this gun in his suicide. It's not a manly man's gun...more like a gun Barbie might carry. moo

IIRC someone was speculating if DH was left or right handed because of the entry and exit wound the gun made. The question was if it entered on the left and exited on the right then he needed to be left handed...and if he isn't left handed then someone could have pulled the trigger...or could be if he was wasted/high it would be easy for someone to help assist him pull the trigger. Not knowing what forensics LE did makes this another unknown!
Did someone in the family state where the entry/exits wounds were or was that rumor?

Just out of curiosity, when was his suicidal tendencies reported and by whom? If this was the case then why was no help sought out for him?
I didn't think he was allowed to be around the kids, this must be the first time she told the truth...
This was a big man, I think plenty were afraid of him and it obviously shows. That being said, I can NOT see a sociopath, which is JMO, taking the coward way out and killing himself. It doesn't make sense to me. There is a specific person who would have benefited from the absence of DH and BW. Probable affair, drugs and jealousy..not to mention a family with a HUGE walk-in closet

It talks about DH's suicide...gun under the chin...exit wound out temple.

I think the answer to what happened to BW lies on what happened on May 31st. And weeks later...we still have no clue as to what happened in those 24 hours!

Update on timeline...

5/30...we now know DH picked BW up down the road from CW's house.

And that's why there should be a major criminal investigation! DH is last person reported to be with her...her clothes & toys for her baby were found at home where DH was staying...then DH kills himself with her gun!

I say, "line em up for polygraphs"!

Yea, Donnie had to know he was mostly likely headed to jail. That's why he shot himself, right? I'm still not convinced it was a suicide because someone might rather he was dead than incarcerated. Social Security survivor benefits come to mind. He was headed for a long jail term...

I so want to know who's on his frequent contact list and who he was calling the 48 hours before he, erm, ended things. Who used his phone after that?

Somehow I don't think Wendy still carries the same phone plan. She can't
afford it now.

(1) WWH would want ATT records because they tell more info than the actual phone. Ex. My cell is with ATT. l can delete texts/phone calls off my phone, so anyone getting possession of my phone wouldn't know they existed. But date/time/length of calls of any deleted texts/calls would show up on my records if accessed online or given to someone by LE.

I know from the Caylee Anthony forum that some companies can print off the actual text message for LE. I intend to go to her forum today to see if Casey had ATT as provider.

(2) I've seen conflicting things as to WWH's reasons in comments on MSM stories or social websites Most allude that WWH is protecting DH (or herself). I also saw one that stated WWH was doing it for CW (who I assume was trying to protect BW by perhaps wanting voice message about drug deals deleted...moo)

(3) She is either (a) lying or (b) under so much stress from DH suicide that she was mistaken.

(4) I'm confused with you.

clarabell posted that WWH might have had possession of BW's phone. That was great insight. If DH had BW's gun it makes sense he might have had her cell. WWH might have had BW's cell in her possession but might still need a password to access voice messages if BW had them password protected.

Zeaux told us BW had good phone but had replaced her SIM card with a prepaid SIM. I wonder why??? It would have cost BW money to do this. BW's phone was on someone's family plan. Thus the account owner would have had online/bill access to her phone activity. I wonder if a prepaid SIM would have kept account owner from having that access. Why wouldn't BW want them to have access?

There was something on 5/31/12 @1:42 AM. It's been discussed a lot...it can't be discussed in this thread though.
