This whole case has really been hard to read about. I just wonder if Brittany was going to spill the beans and Donnie killed her. Maybe she saw the possible future for her own child in this perverted family that she was a part of and told him that it was all over for him. IDK, just thinking of what could have happened to her.
did we ever discuss the possibilty of britt killing DH and it looked like a suicide. maybe the dirtbag threatened or attacked her. he died from a shot out of her gun.
i truly am hoping it is not the other way around and he shot her before offing himself.

SEARCH UPDATE: As of right now, KlaasKIDS does not need volunteers for the searches this week. The locations are being kept confidential until further notice. We will notify everyone if that changes and as we receive information/updates that can be shared publicly. Praying for Brittney, her family, friends and all the volunteers who have dedicated their time & hearts to finding her.

BBM. If this search area was identified by Mobile PD, then I hope someone is finally talking. Maybe one of the meth girls Derek was with.

That was my thought as well. I find it odd they would choose to look in that area if that's just where he took his bracelet off. From what I understand, Klaas doesn't get involved unless there's significant reason to search an area.

Remember everyone, 2 girls were arrested along side Derek when he was popped for fleeing and such. A deal may be on the table for them. it's all speculation at this point, but it's pretty safe to assume they wouldn't bother if there wasn't reason to look.
I'm holding out that teeny tiny bit of hope she's alive but if she's not, I hope there's closure in the next 48 hours.

From the same link: "The Rangeline Road area was spotlighted by MPD, according to Dennis. Hanke said it is the same area where Wood's brother, Derek, removed his ankle monitor while running from police in October."

So, at the Rangeline Road area we have the 2 girls with the meth lab, Derek cutting off his monitor, and now we learn Donnie's cell phone records link him there.

Sounds like something was hidden there and Derek escaped andcut off his bracelet and then hid whatever was left there.
A cadaver dog will tell them if its Brit!

Next question where was DK trying to get to?

I actually think this is why they are not in jail. This could have been what they have been waiting for......for one of them to lead them to something!

DK was trying to get somewhere also?

Thank you for the info about her daughter. I had not read that before. I thought she still had her. I completely agree with you about it being a wise decision to let the father and his family raise her.
According to an Zeaux, an insider who was on this thread, Brittany gave up custody to the baby's father after being caught with others in what Zeaux described as a "rolling meth lab" drugs.

Mothers + children + meth = not a good mix.

I've seen other mothers in similar situations give up custody because they were afraid the child would go into child protective services.

Mmmmm... I saw the number 20. Could it be that Brittney will be found tomorrow?

Bless KlaasKids for its hard work and focus. I have a lot of faith in Marc Klaas and his organization.

Saying prayers for Brittney's loved ones, and mostly for Brittney and her daughter.
