I don't have a link...or thread to link...and I don't want to add any "hearsay"...but I am pretty sure we were told that the gun only had 2 bullets in it when BW acquired it, and she never purchased any more for it. I'll go search for the thread.

I am well aware that Brittneys gun had only 2 bullets and thats how she acquired it. I didnt say anything that disputes that.

I posted a tidbit I found on the vast internet where its mentioned that the gun had a tendency to jam on the third bullet. I thought I was clear that this comment was "heresay"

Maybe thats why the gun came with only 2 bullets, maybe not. The dealer probably didnt want to add the third bullet if it would jam. Doesnt necessarily relate to Brittneys case but I found it interesting.

Thats all

Please let me know if I'm mistaken, because all the ins and outs of Brittney's case are a little difficult to follow, but was it stated somewhere she got the gun in a trade? If that's true, a trade for what?

I am not attacking the victim here, but could it have been drugs? It does seem there may have been a lot of drug use around Brittney, and it doesn't seem impossible she may have had access to them too. If she thought she needed to protect herself......

That brings me to my next thought, could Brittney have needed to be silenced not because of sex abuse, but because of drugs 'business'? I suspect it can involve a lot of money and violence sometimes, and I do wonder how certain people involved in this case managed to support themselves.

Not by any means stating this is the case, just feel I have to think about every reason why Brittney has disappeared, and who might benefit from her vanishing!

Because at the moment you see, I don't see how DH would have gained any benefits at all, given the no-future future he planned for himself.

I had forgotten about the Social media thread, thanks!

Re gun: IIRC, I believe it was Zeaux who stated that BW got the gun in a drug trade. IIRC, I believe it was CW who stated that BW needed the gun because she had "a lot" of ex-boyfriends from whom she needed to protect herself. [Take it for what it's worth!]

I think the motive for her "missing" status might become clearer when/if it is revealed just who [?multiple people?] she might have been a possible witness against in sexual assault cases. JMVHO.

I'd also assume the drug trade factored into the mix.

LE once stated there were many more arrests to come, or something like that? I wonder if they are done yet? Or is it possible that another arrest in the future might shed more light on why Brittney had to be disappeared?

Might he have been somehow protecting his son?

He doesn't strike me as someone who was terribly protective of his children really.

I agree why would he hurt her if he planned on taking his own life!

Maybe he asked her to meet him that night and he told her everything was going to come falling down everyone was getting arrested and he thought it best if she got out of dodge. I do think she and he were involved with drugs big time and it would only be amatter of time till they came after her.

Seems DH was the first one investigated and to me hes the one that ratted them all out.... He knew he was headed to jail for a LONGGGGG time and
chose the cowards way out!

All JMO

Its very easy to blame a DEAD man!

I agree Donnie was concerned about donnie!

Remember his son saying she was seen with a man (stranger) while his dad was in the hospital.

I think Brit knew everything about everyone and this is why she is either hiding or dead!

  • #493
Have we ever found out who paid for her phone?

I also think there is another phone!

BBM - Could be ... but, I don't get the sense that these people ever confide truthfully in LE. JMHO.

I agree, he "chose the cowards way out!"

These ppl have tooo much to hide!
Remember they never told LE they received a call!
They only release the info if they get caught witholding it!

I would really like to see a cadaver (not search) dog check out the trunk/backseat and passenger seat of DH's car, as well as those of the mysterious white SUV that Brittney may/may not have got into.

I know it's a sad scenario, but I think the trail leading to Brittney's location may well lie in where she went after her death, rather than when she was alive.

Of course I really want her to be alive and well, somewhere, I just find it hard to believe this might still be the case.

Ill bet they want it all to just fade away !
LOL

What do you think would have happend had DH not killed himself?
Would she be missing?

I do think it's possible that Brittney might still have disappeared, even if DH had not killed himself.

Re "Who paid for BW's phone": IDK and just remember a lot of confusion on this issue! On family plan of DH/WWH with prior phone? But, just got new pay-as-you-go phone, paid by [?] ? :thud:

Re another phone: Yes, was the prior phone found? Is it now in LE's possession? If not, who has it? Is it "missing" too? :thud:

There are so many possible scenarios, my head just spins with this case.

When you put together the crazy family, crazy exes, people BW fought with, drugs, sexual abuse, evidence tampering, dead man....well, it's a real mess and i just hope something big turns up soon otherwise i seriously question whether or not this will ever be solved.
