Is this just poor reporting or is RSW charged in both Baldwin County and Mobile County and I completely missed it? I thought Kent was the only one charged in both Counties.

Man, the reporting is all over with some of these charges and I see no where online to check the official records through the Courts. So, thanks to Bessie's info, I now have:

Also, as far as I know, we are aware of the facts of 2 different situations.

One in which Donnie Holland allegedly picked up <modsnip --> "victim"> under the premise of getting her a hamster but instead picked up Dustin Kent and watched as Dustin proceeded to rape her. No other names were referenced and these are the Mobile County charges so I assume Dustin Kent is the only one, other than the deceased Donnie Holland, allegedly involved in this incident.

The other is an occasion when Derek Wook, Donnie Holland Jr. and William Brownlee allegedly raped a 12 year old, presumably in Donnie Holland Jr.'s family (due to his incest charges).

Authorities there allege that he molested multiple victims, including the niece from the Mobile County case.

And so I'm thinking that the charges against Wendy pertain to a third situation in which Wendy sexually abused yet another victim (since she has no incest charges). It would seem so because the children involved in Dustin/Donnie's incident and the child involved in the Derek/DonnieJr/Brownlee were all over 12 and Wendy's charges, by name, involve a child under 12. So there is at least a 3rd victim.

We also don't know who is involved in Randall Scott Wood's case and possibly the last of Dustin Kent's cases. As these two were arrested at the same time, I think it's a safe bet that they involved the same victim, which would be at least the 4th victim.

Absolutely sick.

I understand the whole “roll tide” brouhaha is associated with a University in Alabama but, coupled with this case, all I can think about every time I read “roll tide” is “toxic red tide” as this family has obviously had a toxic affect on its children and possibly those of other families. So sad and damaging any way you look at it! JMVHO

So sad that someone who could have come out for Brittney and REALLY made a difference did........nothing. Charity did not begin at home this time.

I know this case is distasteful and can only be bad publicity, but-there's a young woman missing out there who had virtually zero life chances but managed to hang on. She didn't deserve to be disappeared without trace. It shouldn't be strangers fighting her corner but still, I'm glad they (we?) are. We may not be high profile, but at least we're doing all we can.

I have been reading a lot about sex trafficking in the US (on JaRay Wilson's, OK, missing person thread). My gut reaction is that Brittney is no longer living. But with all the sex trafficking...that is a possibility as to what happend to BW.

I completely understand why you raised this point, but a couple of things make me think it's unlikely;
Brittney, I feel, was only too aware of what sexual exploiters were capable of and how harmless they could appear. She'd have seen straight through them, imo. She was also quite tough, I think.
Second point, she was a homebody-she'd never been anywhere much. Some sleazebag coming along and offering to take her off into the sunset might have got more than he bargained for, imo.

Poor little girl. Maybe that terrible option would have been safer for her, in the long run.

Ok, I think I'm done spinning in circles and will run with this one based on the information obtained from the website bessie was kind enough to give me. The biggest change is that there were no charges against Wendy Wood Holland for Sexual Torture nor Sexual Abuse of a Child Under 12. Hmmmmm.

I don't know that they did. Could have but the information provided for by that Baldwin County website may not be 100% accurate. It accurately has 2 of the charges and they may have simply failed to input the other 2.

Thanks so much for all that hard work, reedus23. Honestly, I look at all of those charges and that list of people and I cannot believe my eyes. And when I think of the victims......with so many people involved, how is it anyone in this close-knit family did not know - or at least suspect - something bad was going on?

If someone makes a deal and it helps bring Brittney home, I know it's a good thing. But I can't help hoping it isn't WWH.

In the news report, I think it was the DA? who said child victims often tell their stories piecemeal, over a long period. Wouldn't it be great if one of the victims eventually comes out with something they have overheard about Brittney? That would be so much better than any of these people charged being able to strike a deal, I think
