The article also says that she was last see leaving with DH. That's new info too, right?

That info is not new. It has been known since the beginning

No, it came out when she first went missing - but no one directly witnessed her going with him (I believe).

Question for those that are more involved than I am: In the article it states her maternal uncle (who has also been arrested) is the one that blew the whistle. Am I reading this correct? I know media tends to make a mess of cases, so I'm curious about it and the factuality concerning it. I wonder what the motivation was to talk to the police about it? I'm grateful that he did though, those children deserve to be safe and away from everyone who harmed them.

But again; did anyone retrace Donalds' last route? I'm guessing that Wendy had his car detailed so soon after because there was evidence located in there. Given that Brit's phone battery was located there - it absolutely was a crime scene and connected to a missing persons' case. This entire situation has been botched and it's got me wondering if anything will ever come of it. The more I think about it - the angrier I become.

Oh what I'd give to be able to travel there and be a journalist ..

I believe it's been public knowledge since the beginning that Brittney was last seen leaving with Donnie that evening. Donnie's phone records/pings along with Brittney's have been gone over with a 'fine toothed comb' and still haven't led us to her. Some of the searches we have done have been based on those phone pings.
I also believe that LE knew that the sex crimes and Brittney's disappearance were related but for some reason didn't admit to that until later on. Just like they didn't admit that the phone battery was found in the vehicle. There are many facts that have not been disclosed in MSM but have been to some of the family.

BBM.... Yes, we have retraced his route. Some of us here have done that together.
And yes it is true that Scott talked.

Okay, am I hallucinating? IIRC Back when Brittney first went missing LE said the sex case had nothing to do with her. Now she was the "golden nugget" and they were looking to talk to her? Did I hallucinate them saying it had nothing to do with her disappearance?

I'm so glad FOX is doing this, I wish they would have done more to pressure LE sooner.

Yep, that's what LE said. However I've learned from following cases that LE often lies. Which seems so counterintuitive here at WS because we often quote LE statements and use them as truthful facts. I just wish we knew in what way Brittney is the "golden nugget".

"We oftentimes look for that golden nugget. That one person that can make the difference in your case," said Detective Eric Winberg, former lead investigator on the family sex abuse investigation in Baldwin County. "In this particular case, Brittney Wood was that person. She was the person that could tell the whole story." (Fox News article)

The bolded sentence is so curious. What more could Brittney know that the other victims did not know? Abuse is abuse is abuse... Is there more than the abuse? Does she know more than her brother knows? Was 🤬🤬🤬🤬 media sold? What more could there be?

An aside: Chessie looks so different in the new video. I keep thinking of all the fibs she told when Brittney first went missing. Walking 40 miles to see her favorite uncle. Remember how incredulous she sounded. Ahem.

I'm happy to hear it has been retraced (I figured WS members had done so :blushing: ) but then that leaves a big wtf happend? I wonder if he called someone to meet him, and they took Brittney?

IIRC the twins Mendy and Wendy went to great lengths to deny that Donnie and Brittney were together that evening. It wasn't until weeks later that it was finally confirmed Donnie picked her up at Chessie's house. I'll have to look downstairs in the Brittney Wood Social Media thread to see the actual dates. Chessie said Brittney left her house "happy as could be" to walk 40 miles to visit her aunt and uncle - wearing flip flops! She loved to walk!

Oh Chessie!

"Detectives said Brittney's cell phone battery and handgun were found in Donald Holland's car after he was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head."

http://www.fox10tv.com/dpp/news/special_reports/special-report-missing-brittney

So did Uncle Donnie shoot himself with Brittney's gun?

Yes, that's right. I'll muddy the water and say I'm not convinced he shot himself. :) There were certain folks who would gain more financially if he was dead than if he went to jail. I'm also not sure how it was decided that it was Brittney's gun other than certain family members saying so. A lot has been placed at Brittney's feet and she's (conveniently) not here to defend herself.

Thick as thieves as the saying goes.

I don't see how DH isn't involved with whatever happened to Brittney. I truly fear he did something to her, took out the phone battery, guilt/fear set in and he killed himself. The question to me is, was anyone else involved. If so, doubtful it's RSW if he got the ball rolling. Derek was in jail at the time. That leaves who? Wendy, Dusty, DHJr. and Brownlee? At a minimum, I sure as hell hope that LE has checked those 4 people's cell phones and pings.

If LE knew Brittney was the one who could tie them all together then the defendants also knew she was potential problems for them. I keep seeing a group of the defendants all confronting her with Donnie's big day coming up, things getting out of control, one of them killing Brittney, DH killing himself knowing that the you know what is about to hit the fan and Wendy goes about cleaning things up, whether it's messages on a phone or getting a car detailed or trying to fabricate stories about people's whereabouts. All just my opinion and speculation but it's the scenario that's been running through my head since day one.

Final thought is the release of the additional information is just ratcheting up that pressure one more notch as these trials get closer. Hopefully we see more of it in the weeks/months ahead.

Such craziness in this case!!! Ugh, this family!! Hoping there is some resolution found soon:/

I'll say this... Donnie was shot with Brittneys gun. I have my own opinion of who shot him

~Team Brittney~

Do you know if there was ANY investigation into DH's alleged suicide? Did LE check for gunshot residue on DH's hands? Any family or friends that were at that scene where DH was found should have been checked for GSR. I know this to be true in most LE agencies. Usually in a gunshot reporting EMS cannot enter the scene whether the victim is alive or dead until LE has cleared the area. Meaning LE should have had a good view of the scene before EMS arrived. DH's gunshot wound, in my opinion is not characteristic of a suicide. Even more of a reason for LE to have further investigated DH's death.

Now that we know Brittney's cellphone battery was found in the vehicle with DH, the gun belonged to Britt, inconsistent stories spewing from WH's mouth and Britt is missing, maybe someone was attempting to setup Brittney? So many questions.

If all the above was not checked, LE did not properly investigate DH's case either. This may sound harsh, but I don't really care that he is deceased. I think the world is a better place w/o him. I just want to know how much his death was investigated. If LE had investigated DH's case properly, maybe Britt's disappearance would have been taken more seriously. Britt may have been found a long time ago.

Supposedly WH found DH, waited a couple of minutes while messing with his phone, then called 911. I don't think they did a GR test. They focused more on getting him medical help IMO. Her hands should have been tested along with his but as you know, the investigations in this case have been ridiculous from the start.

Is that solid info that she messed with the phone a couple minutes before calling 911? If accurate, that's pretty freakin cold and pretty damning. Her husband sits in the car alive, dying but alive, and she doesn't immediately call 911 but starts cleaning the phone? Had to be some serious sh*$ on that phone for her to even think of it much less deal with it before dealing with her dying husband. Do we know this for certain?

Just curious, how do they know it's Brittney's cell phone battery if they never found her cell phone?

Cell phone batteries are interchangeable right?

I wouldn't put my life on it but from what I know about the cell phone records and from activity on certain FB accounts all of which I can't link here, WH "supposedly " waited a couple of minutes before calling for help. IMO, she has the answers to many many questions.
