I have to say this, i completely disagree that their Grandmother was their safe place. There is evidence out there that shows she is/was just as bad, IMO as Chessie is. My personal opinion is Derek went there because she was the lesser of two evils at the time. Maybe she was cutting him more slack that Chessie, who knows. I do not believe Britt would call her Grandmother, at all. Just knowing what we do of the history there. JMO!

It was said previously that the Gmother allowed drug use, among other things in her house. So IMO, being *A* safe place, and being *THEIR* safe place can be two very different things.

Just jumping off your post. Remembering some past discussions:

Remember when RSW had some strangely timed Geocaching activity around the time of Brit's disappearance? With pics! Knowing NOW that he made the initial report, makes me wonder even more about his involvement with Brit's disappearance. One of his friends even interjected themselves in here pretty early, shouting about his innocence in all this, before any charges were made.

Per WH, there was a court order preventing DH from being around his child(ren). I want to think it was just one of the children specifically, based on comments by WH very early when she was unable to shut her trap. I wonder if this same child was the one messaging Brittney? (and later came forward) And it was thought, by DH/WH, that one of them was controllable, and one of them wasn't?

Just some more things to make my mind mushy, trying to wrap it around these people and what they could be capable of.

We were all freaked out but not surprised that RSW was arrested BUT now knowing he's the one to report it all the way back in February gets my mind reeling! Totally ties some stuff up, at least imo. So much of his family dynamic didnt make sense, now it does. Now I want to know more... I especially want to know more about this gaming group & the tournaments they ran. I wonder now why he left his wife & kids to go work in AL. He knew what he & his family were involved in! Now everything he was involved in with the community I question...

This whole entire family is soo soo messed up. I'am so glad these children got away from this sick mess and have a chance at a better life. I don't even know if you call brit's "grandma" a grandma. If my grandmother was sending my rapist money in jail and writing him letters i wouldn't even have contact with her, or anybody that did. Everyday I hear more & more stuff coming out of these's ppl's mouth! I'am seriously too the point where i'am afraid to get on the internet. Scared of what i'am going too read next. How sad for Brittney could you imagine if you actually lived it? Instead of just hearing about it.

I'm a few days behind but I wanted to wish PH a happy birthday! I hope you enjoyed your day. I'm sorry your mommy could not be there with you. I pray some day your family will have the answers to your questions about your mommy. I wish peace and happiness for you PH.

I believe the person(s) responsible for Brittney's disappearance victimized many children and ultimately committed murder. They have victimized PH by taking away her mother. I hope those that are responsible for hurting so many innocent people will soon receive their due punishment and Brittney will be brought home.

Go read AH's FB page. AH talks about Mendy having Chessie's 2 youngest when they were first born because CW and PH both tested postive for drugs. There is a lot of stuff coming out now.

You are not wrong - the rapist is the boyfriend to the mother of CW, WH, RSW, MW, and SW - Britt's maternal grandmother.

I might have read a different post than you read. We could both be right.

Isn't it pathetic and sad that the grandma is linked to more than one sex offender. One she married (or lived with) and one she gave birth to.

I read this about an hour ago & thought of Brittney's family then and now seems appropriate to share it here. This supports that it usually does go back multi-generations.
