<modsnip - rumor>Regarding the car, I feel it was set up as a decoy. Possibly had another vehicle there waiting to switch. IDK. I have to go back and reread stuff at some point.
The thing that makes you have to question the car-as-decoy theory is, there was a clumsy attempt to spray paint it.

This makes me think that once they realized it had been identified, they tried to disguise it, gave up, ditched it, and may be carjacking now.

Her former co-worker says she looks 75 years old from constant tanning. Also he said no one was surprised at her actions.

Video;
Vicky looks old

Says he was wrongfully terminated. Maybe he's holding a grudge? lol

I agree that’s a solid possibility. I question whether someone would choose a very used bright orange vehicle that even was a bit smashed up as a reliable getaway car though. Think they just wanted to paint it so it would take longer for it to be discovered and LE wouldn’t get to the cameras as fast to try to figure out where they went to next? Just spitballing.

I think to make sure he had clothes once he was out. He needed them.
Yes, but the question is, why wait until the escape to buy them? Seems risky…

He went on a huge crime spree on Giles County, TN in 2015. Shot a dog, threatened people, tried to hijack a semi, shot a woman while trying to take her car…
He shot the dog and threatened people in Athens Alabama. He tried to hijack the semi and shot the woman while on the run from that in TN.

My dad was 6'9. My sister is 6'4. I haven't witnessed people paying that much attention to them. They pretty much blend in.

True, good points…

Interesting that you have real life experience of this with your family. So maybe his height is not as much of a hindrance as people think?

Why are we assuming the spray paint job happened at the scene of the ditching of the car? I apologize if it was mentioned in a report and I missed it. Seems possible Vicky tried to do the camouflage sometime before the day of the escape and gave up on it. Realized it wasn't going to work and decided to use it as a decoy and then ditch/switch with another car, or whatever.

So many posts to catch up on! I’m finally here!

1) I wonder if filing the paperwork for her retirement was a back up plan. If things went sideways she could claim that she was kidnapped and forced to let him go on the drive to the courthouse. Admittedly not a good plan, as there was no doctors appointment. And clearly she has a radio in the car and knows now that the police know she is involved via news reports. But perhaps this was the thinking prior to this plan to break out an inmate.

2) as a Canadian close to the border, I can attest that it is not that hard to get across the border in parts. I’m west coast, but I imagine it is the same everywhere. There is a lot of land, many trees, and though they are patrolled and there are cameras, it’s still possible. I would assume more so than between the USA and Mexico. If you waited till night, found the right spot, and went fast, it’s possible. I won’t go into details but a friends son recently crossed over on a mission to run away and commit suicide. He was sadly successful in both endeavours. So crossing is possible.
IMO, heading north would be a very challenging living situation during the coming winter. They do not understand the challenges of cold weather and snow.

The cost of living in Canada is very high. No way they could afford that (or rent).
I really think they are headed south.

Sorry, I think she acutally bought everything before this escape plan. Missed that she visited after and I believe it's not accurate.

Plot twist: the towing guy was in on it. Lol.

Just kidding. I mean, I think I’m kidding. 99.9% chance I’m kidding….
Lol....how do I activate that new laughing emoji in place of a simple "like"?

Thanks for the correction on where he shot the dog. Lumped that in.

I’m sure some people notice and some don’t. My boss is 6’5” and the first thing I did when I met him was ask how tall he was. And my friend Doug is a similar height and gets sooo tired of people commenting on his height and asking if he plays basketball.

You have a tall family!

It's only been a week.

I think the high hasn't yet worn off.

Probably have lots of liquor and food and then her other purchases we just found out about;).

My impression is that their relationship has previously been carried out by phone, text, letter, whatever, just not in physical proximity for days on end.

Give it another week or so. Wait until he's getting antsy to move on.

I see him as the first to deviate from the plan. And that won't be good for her. If he takes the car keys and the cash he can keep going in the backwoods he's familiar with for a long time. She'll be either dead by then or abandoned without the man, the means, or the freedom she planned.
YES

Interesting while catching up on his life
He has a dead EX girlfriend and he was there when she died.

He has a missing half brother

Plus all the other facts we know of his past with a murder, attempting murder /stealing from a truck driver, well, the list goes on.

She will end up dead, IMO

She is a liability to him .. yes, she was an asset to break him out and set him free, but it wont be long before she becomes a liability.

Also... the orange car... A WEEK ?!?!?!?!!?
It was abandoned the same day they went on the run and it took a WEEK for LE to know that is was left the same day. OMG

Ok.. carry on.. just trying to catch up with this crazy case here.

Just hold down the like button for a second or two and the options will pop up.:)

Why am I not reading any of this? What MSM am I missing?

I really don't think it is. I mean he's tall but not freakishly tall.

It’s a good question worth asking. Maybe they have it on camera somewhere without it. But maybe you’re right!
