Regarding the possibility of them moving around in a RV. I don't think this is realistically possible right now. Rv's are usually gas guzzlers and the price of gas right now is quite expensive. In addition this would require stops at gas stations. Gas stations are full of CCTV cameras. They would also need refills of potable water as well as to dump their waste. Add to that battery/generator/electric power sources.

IMO, not a good short term option for them. They need to be off the grid for a while to remain undetected. I do though believe they feel the need to be connected to the internet so they know if LE is on their trail. That is probably why the public will not get much meaningful information until they are apprehended.

My current theory is a remote piece of land in an area CW feels comfortable in. By comfortable, I mean he would know how to live off the land. Fishing, hunting and access to water (potable).

All just JMO, IMO, etc.

ETA - and occasional access to internet/cell phone service.

Just to clarify, I am speaking of driving over....not walking as has been noted elsewhere. Having just gone over in early April I can attest that they are being much more careful in checking vehicles coming IN to Mexico (generally for firearms and large sums of cash). My comment about Covid was just an assumption that the border closing and then additional checks of people coming into Mexico made them aware of understaffing and more robust methods available. Hence new plate reading technology, video, drug dogs, etc.

I think that it depends on the checkpoint. I spend a lot of time in Southern California and Tijuana is known as the easy, no hassle place to cross…not even just for criminal purposes, but if you just want to get across with little hassle. People go back and forth with remarkable ease there sometimes. I was shocked by it.

Hard to believe that someone her age, with so many years working in the prison system (or county jail rather) with all types of criminals and personalities could be easily manipulated. But on the flipside, not a stretch to think that someone with a violent criminal history could also be very good at being a con / manipulator.

I don’t know. It seems like a lot to speculate on. I read the bio of a well known Instagram influencer who came out of drugs and she used to live with a cop. He knew she had a drug problem but she was able to hide most of it from him. I know VW divorced her husband over drugs but then never fully left him, I don’t think that means she was actively aiding in the criminal lifestyle both at home and at prison. It sounds like she basically grew up with her ex. The close relationship could be explained on that alone. But hey anything is possible, MHOO.

Having a close relationship and living with your ex are two different things - living with her ex greatly reduced any chance she had of marrying someone else. It's also undisputed that both her ex and this convicted are drug users, which she's currently with a drug user - yet again - by choice even though such a choice has now made her an outlaw. To me it makes more sense that she's more approving of drugs than she appears instead of her seriously put off by drugs yet continuing to live with her drug-using ex then immediately criminally hitching her wagon to another drug user.

Thanks so much! I wonder if this was what she was talking about doing or if she is planning a more elaborate speech to convince her to come home. Either way, I would love to hear more from her. Although I am sure she is in the middle of her own incredible heartbreak and I only wish her comfort and well-being.

I noticed that choice of words too. Apparently people who know her cannot believe she would choose to be this crazy. So the question is, does she have a secret side, or has she been strongly manipulated? The only thing that kills it for me is the lingerie rumor. Other than that, it’s hard to tell if she felt motherly or romantic. I read in another article (I’m sorry no link) that they specifically said that the prison favors she did for him were “not physical” but were just things like extra food. MOO

Getting older, getting lonely.. and ya know how some girls just love the bad boy type. A part of me almost wants to root for the 2 of them, until I read about the things he's done. I suspect he's charismatic and charming when he wants to be. I hope her decision didn't cost her life. Not sure about Mexico, they might stick out there too.

Timing was off...not listed on as missing and wanted until AFTER the vehicle was picked up...about an Hour or 45 minute difference. Vehicle I believe was still at the tow companies lot. Once Marshall's Office took over, I'm not sure of alerts going out in TN to local LE...should have. The article I read said the tow ruck driver reallized he picked up the car when he saw the news Thursday night!

Don’t locksmiths have ways to deal with that? If not, what happens when people lose the keys to their own car?

I wonder if they need the owner's permission to use the tool that opens the car door when it is locked and there are no keys. When they first came upon the car, the towing company didn't know what the situation was with this abandoned car. There are probably liability issues if they open a locked car without the owner's permission, or the permission of LE.

Okay the source I have does not mention Giles County or Tennessee but it does say he "drove north" for part of his spree, then back south where it all ended in Limestone County Alabama, the same place it had started.

So, it looks like Giles County, Tennessee, is just across the border from Limestone County, Alabama, and that must have been the middle of this spree, when he "drove north." So confusing!
