Plenty of time has passed for a still photo from the Burlington surveillance camera to be released so people know who they are looking for. This is making NO sense.

And release the video from Burlington (which BTW does sell household stuff, clothing, makeup, purses, etc. Not a coat store.)

Is this hitchhiker her boyfriend? IMO, she knows him. Though we have seen a mother hand off her kid to a complete stranger before in a Walmart and the child ended up dead. <modsnip: Please don't discuss comments from social media.>

The subject may be traveling in a 2003 black Cadillac Escalade with an Alabama tag 2BW5517. WHO DOES THIS??? Leaving a baby with a stranger you picked up on the highway? Sounds kinda hinky!

"The missing child's mother told police that she picked up a male stranger along the I-65 Service Road and later in the day went to Burlington Coat Factory at 3168 Airport Blvd with him and her 7-week-old child. Police say, while in the store she asked the male to take the child to her vehicle and wait for her. When she exited the store, the male, her vehicle, and her child were gone. Please be on the look out for the missing child and vehicle pictured below. The vehicle was last seen westbound on Government Blvd at Lansdowne Drive W. at approximately 3:30pm. If the child and/or the vehicle is located contact MPD at 251-208-7211 or your local authorities."

I am quite sure if they truly were at Burlington then they have pics of the "kidnapper" going in and out of the store. So, when will these be posted so everyone knows who to "look for"?

The police interviewed mother for hours and hours. The comments mentioned above are very interesting. Looks like LE and the public are thinking the same as some here are (including myself)... IMO

From the comments on the above link, I do think she was there at Burlington with a male, but I don't know if I believe it was a complete stranger.

(I was just going to mention Cherish Periwinkle FTR, not that I necessarily believe the story given to us.)

I think I need a break from this place. Age doesn't match and racial description is wrong, but all I could think of when I saw little Christiana's photo was she looks just like Baby June: FL - Fl - Baby Girl Found Floating Near Boynton Beach, June 2018
And then I read the crazy story mom gave. I don't know what to say to these cases anymore. I hope against all hope baby Christiana is alive and will be found safe.

If the story this woman is spinning is true— which is debatable— then her actions in handing her baby over to a complete stranger dance the line of reckless endangerment of a child, IMO.
