Pickens County Sheriff searching for missing woman

They say Christy Cook was last seen in Pickens County around 5 p.m. on March 7. Cook was traveling to Tennessee, but did not arrive at her intended destination.

Her truck was found in Etowah County, but her whereabouts remain unknown.

new info... The trailer in tow was not with the truck when it was found. It also mentions one of her "aquaintances" was located and named. Does not say anything more about him or why he was even mentioned. Maybe the location he was found has something to do with that.

The truck she was last known to be traveling in was found in Etowah County. The black, GMC extended cab truck was recovered on Friday in a wooded area near Stephens Gap Road in the Keener community. A 1995 Excel ski boat that was reportedly being pulled by the truck has not been located.

A man known to be with Cook, Anthony McClellan, was found wandering disoriented near County Line Beverages on Highway 11 North in Attalla at 4 p.m. last Wednesday. He was later taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.

Sheriff's Offices in two counties search for missing woman

The Pickens County Sheriff Office is looking for a missing Woman. Christy Lynn Kelly Cook ,39, was last seen around 5 p.m. March 7th in Pickens County.
The black, GMC truck Cook was last seen in was found March 10th in a wooded area near Stephens Gap Road.
