The Coosa County sheriff says the remains were found by a resident somewhere in the Ray community around 11:30 a.m. Sunday. They were found in the woods off Alabama 259.

Human remains found in Coosa County September 14 identified as missing Alexander City man

The Coosa County Sheriff's Office released the identification Monday of the human remains found in the Ray Community last weekend.

Sheriff Michael Howell says the remains belonged to 36-year-old Bradley Jackson Sandford, of Alexander City, who had been reported missing.

BJ, as Bradley is affectionately known by loved ones, updated his FB profile on 27 Jul to show off his new look for his new start in life.

David Childers of Paranormal Investigation, who is BJ's brother, has announced through the Vicksburg, MS FB page a Bradley Sanford Memorial Fundraiser to help with burial costs. The event will be held at The McNutt House In Vicksburg Mississippi. Stormy Daniels is listed as a special guest.

Bradley J. Sanford, a simple man, much loved brother and son, from Alexander City, AL passed away Sept. 13, 2020 from undetermined causes at the age of 36. Brad, “BJ”, was born to Mary Mann and Jack Sanford on February 19th, 1984 in Sylacauga Alabama.

Brad wanted only to make his parents proud by being a Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd’s definition. He also enjoyed hard, honest work with his hands like auto repair. Thank you to the Patterson family for taking a chance on his work and being a source of stability.
