His page and flyer on "Missing People in America" state David Stann took his drone when he left and is from Pennsylvania, so he has no family in the area. He is also in the military.

ETA according to fb family postings it would appear phone is dead and no logs since missing, but we cannot link all the missing alerts they are spreading via fb. In any case it makes sense, never seen a missing person for whom phone still works after many days

The "condition that impairs judgement" is what I had a question on. I would think a judgment impairing condition would impact one's ability to serve in the military. Has he had a recent head injury? - is the condition itself recent? Does it require medication that would impact him if he missed dosage. I do hope he is found soon.

Various sources (like the one I shared above) have stated he left with his drone. Assuming they’ve found him and the possible “impaired judgment” aside, I wonder if he just wanted to take his drone out to the forest to shoot and had an accident. MOO.

ROGERSVILLE, Ala. — A 23-year-old man was found dead at Joe Wheeler State Park on Monday afternoon, according to Lauderdale County Coroner Kim Jones.

The body is presumed to be that of David Stann, a University of Alabama at Huntsville student who has been missing since September 22. A driver’s license belonging to Stann was located in clothing on the remains.
