Assuming lost his dog meaning passed away, if that's not please correct me. And Frank did not take phone or credit cards. Perhaps the credit union was a ruse to get out of the house and he simply did not want to be found.... Just a passing thought.
Once is the lives of some there is the very special canine friend that changes your life. Some people don't get over the loss of this kind.
Prayers for Frank and family and friends to find comfort and peace. MOO

Still no sign of missing Hoover senior whose car was found abandoned on remote logging road near Marion

The HPD announced on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, that Frank Morgan Stevenson’s gold 2008 Toyota Camry was located on a logging road near Marion by an individual riding an ATV.

Hoover police immediately launched a search in the area and were joined by the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and state prison tracking dogs out of Bibb County. ALEA’s helicopter was deployed during the search, which continue throughout Tuesday.

As of Tuesday afternoon, police said, there is still no sign of Stevenson. Foul play is not suspected, though it has not been ruled out. “The search area terrain is difficult, wet and encompasses thousands of acres,’’ police said in a Facebook post. “We ask everyone to please keep the searchers and especially Mr. Stevenson’s family and friends in their thoughts and prayers.”

The change of seasons and leaves falling may help the searchers find him. If we knew a more exact location, we could see if there were bodies of water. Maybe they can put up some drones to look in the wetter areas.

Update April 22, 2020
The ongoing search search for Mr. Stevenson has concluded for the day, without success. 45 searchers from multiple departments participated today, along with employees from City of Hoover Public Works and Park and Recreation Departments. These men and women are giving their best effort in very unfavorable conditions. Searchers are having to deal with standing water, mud, briars, underbrush, snakes, insects and uneven terrain. Anticipated severe weather and more rain will likely hamper our efforts tomorrow. The search will resume as soon as conditions allow. We remain committed to finding Mr. Stevenson.
