AL AL - Franklin Co, WhtMale, 18-49, Skull on rock ledge near Horseshoe Bend Cmpgrnd, Jun'19

There is a mistake on NamUs. How do we fix this?

The skull was found in Franklin County in Northwest Alabama. It was found in the Horseshoe Bend campground area, which is closest to the very small town of Hodges zip code-wise.

Meanwhile Daviston, AL is in Tallapoosa County, below Birmingham, in Southeast Alabama. That's over 3 hours from Hodges.

There is a Horseshoe Bend National Military Park in Daviston. I think that's where the confusion lies.

Horseshoe Bend John Doe 2019 has been added to the Doe Network.

Unfortunately they also list him as having been found in Daviston. As per my previous post, he was found in Hodges, Alabama, which is in Northwest Alabama. Daviston is in South Alabama. The confusion lies between the parks with similar names.

I sent an email to NamUs regarding the incorrect information a long time ago (citing a source) and it is still not corrected.
