It is beyond sad that almost all of us can immediately think of another case or cases where an innocent baby was murdered by their own family who try the old "They were gone when I got up and the door was open". Which has never worked for anyone ever.
Soon, we will know why she picked that day to give her false report. Why she didn't just keep pretending. Someone was going to find out or notice soon. I hope her life is a living hell until the last minute of it, IMO.

missed beginning. No new info or updates. doing detailed analysis of electronics and phones. if you have Genesis come forward. If you are involved and choose not to come forward we will identify you and prosecute you. There will be a vigil tomorrow to unite community in hope prayer and resolve. This will be our last daily update. No more updates unless new information to share. We are entering a new phase of the investigation. Doesn't mean we are scaling back. Means we are focusing on specific leads. (PD is being coy about telling where they were searching today) Says they are focused on prepping for future work and resetting. Police are tired and need to catch their breath.

DA is there answering if he will charge murder if they cannot locate Genesis. He says early yet for that thinking but if that is an potential eventuality we will go there. Won't rush such a decision. far too early to speculate. We are not there yet.

We are hoping Genesis can come home and maybe she is just with someone. DA refuses to discuss if mother is being cooperative. what we were told be her we do not believe to be true and that is why she's facing charges. Can't discuss how we know she lied but we know she lied.
