Disrespecting someone by leaving their murdered daughter nude in a trashy lot is a strong message.

Or it could be staged......

I'm still curious about how she got to the place she bought the candy and what time this call was when she spoke to her dad.

Another possibility, if it was someone close to her and the perp was aware the previous two deaths in the family were gang related (if they were) then staging it to look tied to a recent death in the family isn't too far fetched imo.

Yes. Its disrespect in the up most. I'm going on a limb here and may have to take a time out. I think the girl went into a car of one of her parents/family members friends or ran into one her parent/family friends. That's my take. Who else would know whats going on. Not only did they disrespect, they did it in the ultimate form. they killed her right before her birthday, they knew this. the trashy lot hold some kind of symbol to somebody.

Thats my take.

If the area is saying it was drug related. Then all 3 deaths were drug related in a way one person was shot 2 times. I don't see why the young girl had to die in a gang like way or die period. I have seen some hard to swallow stuff and this ranks right up there. I hope the FBI catch this guy quickly which is not hard to do,and send him to Texas or Virginia to die with the death penalty.

I don't see any reason you would get a time out for posting your theory. In ANY investigation LE always works their way from family outward. I think it is very possible someone close to her became frustrated and asphyxiated her.

I am very anxiously awaiting an arrest in this case. Hiawayi was so cute with such a spunky smile. Whomever took that bright shiny smiling child from the world needs to face justice to the fullest extent of the law.

Every morning when I first view this thread I am hoping to see an arrest was made. It will not happen soon enough for me.

that last sentence is one, IM worried on.The FBI should talk to him, I mean today, find out what he knows Because this was his daughter.

Phone records should confirm what time the calls occured, but it takes time to get them. Certain procedures have to take place to ensure evidence is admissable in court.

Another thing we do not know is whether anyone in the cousins household was aware Hiawayi was on her way to visit.

There are a lot of unanswered questions......... and I understand why LE is keeping that info so close to the vest.

ETA: It is also possible Hiawayi's parents have been asked by LE not to disclose the time line info publicly. It would be so simple for Hiaway's dad to scroll through his call log for the time of the call with his daughter..so I think it is probable LE has asked her parents to keep some info quiet.

What a sad and horrible waste of a beautiful life. I am listening to the rumors that are coming out of the neighborhood about this being a drug-related crime. The neighborhood sounds close-knit and the family is a solid part of it -- more than just the murderer knows what is going on, but someone needs the courage to come forward. I also think the back-tracking on the autopsy findings is a smart move: if there was no SA (still in question IMO) they need to keep that information close as it tells LE (and us) everything about the motive in this case. Also keeping a lid on information will give LE a valuable means to weed out false leads.

The ever-increasing reward, up to $20,200 at last check, is a smart way to go about finding finding justice for Hiawayi and sends a statement that people are not letting this little girl's death just pass. $20,000 goes a long way toward buying a new life if you are careful, but of course no one is going to get that money for awhile and people are scared. Who wouldn't be? If someone is willing and able to murder an innocent 8 year old girl and leave her discarded naked like trash, what will they do to a snitch? Justice needs to happen here.

Plus, the reality is that she was a girl in a small city where there were/are countless shootings, stabbings and deaths. Asbury Park/Neptune are run by gangs and wannabes. There may never be an answer so all anyone can do is support her mother in the efforts she continues. CLARIFICATION: Quiana was not in a gang, she was a victim of others who were initiating.

There is also no reason but still things happen. On the rez, here in South Dakota, a friend's nephew, in middle school, got a full ride to a private school back East from a Saudi Arabian prince. After he graduated high school and before he was going to college as a Gates Millennium Scholar, he went back to the rez for the summer. Taken out by some of the guys from his area, he was missing for 3 weeks until his body was found in The Bad Lands; the message was 'You can leave the rez but the rez don't leave you'. Things happen just because they happen, somebody got a beef and it ends up bad.

I think this is what happened in Hiawayi's family; there was a beef and she paid the price. That shouldn't happen but it did. Lots of crazy stuff around; gangs, drugs, just intra and inter familial issues and conflict. Sad story but it has happened before and will happen again.

From my understanding they cant or suppose to kill you out a blood gang at that age, females are not shot , or maybe she didn't come to the meeting, I don't know., but same time it not being enough to be shot. This was a dislike dispute.

The best thing to do in those time is find the girl blood gangs which should have not been as hard to do, they are not very deep or hard to miss.. Check her school year book, you should find a few in there, a lot same folks from school area didn't show up that week.. Its not hard to miss. A few should've be around the corner from her. time has elapse so much they may be long gone..

The last bet for them is find some who were in the gang from her area and question them in the prisons. I think her best friends know who did it. they was at the party. They know who she left with.

sorry to be off topic

If you ask, Le ruin a lot cases playing the waiting games in them, trying to find every single person, they had a few suspects or POi . LE sometime is out right scared to make an arrest in them. They could've put a decoy in the school that same week or in her area and heard the whole matter detail for detail. Arrest whom ever, they will talk are some hard time

Today I have the heaviest of hearts. My eldest's birthday is less than a week away. Like Relisha Rudd, I see similarities in Hiawayi, with the big brown eyes, and braids. Her short life has been extinguished before it even began. My youngest will be eight in a few months, and this case resonates. Why, oh why are our children not safe?

Today, I wish this beautiful precious angel a Happy Birthday in Heaven. I hope she is looking down upon all who love and miss her, free from pain and at peace.

I couldn't find a link with info on the 20,000 reward. Do you have one?

Thank you. This is very insightful. I will have to go back and take a closer look at the two other recent deaths in the family.

Was it said whether Hiawayi was found face up or face down?

they never said in the press. It would be in classified police report though.

While I can't rule out the gang initiation, I don't understand the need to remove her clothing in that type of situation.

Since none of the questions about the timeline, who spoke to who, who was with Hailaya when she left home. who she spoke to before leaving the house, have been cleared up, my gut tells me LE is purposely leaving that information private as those inconsistencies may be part of their case.

Sadly, if she was not sexually abused as 'rumored', then it appears as if someone staged the scene to appear as if she had been assaulted.

I just hope the persons responsible are brought to justice soon.

Just a thought... Maybe someone took off her close because of what they might have left on them?? Maybe DNA evidence or something?? Again just a thought..

She was a beautiful little girl :(

I keep hoping to read an arrest has been made. Praying for all involved and especially the authorities, that they can solve this case quickly.

Lot's of rumors floating around on fb pages and media comments. I hope an arrest is made quickly too Cubby.

IMO, LE is piecing together their case. Maybe it's a matter of waiting for the forensics to come back.

I don't think this is gang related. Maybe some two bit 🤬🤬🤬🤬, maybe somehow drug or debt related, but not a true gang. Lots of crime in and around Mobile, but I don't think there are any *real* gangs. Maybe some young wannabes but I just don't think that is the case here. Most violent crimes in this area are drug related, domestic violence, or burglaries. I think she may have been molested and LE is purposely withholding that info.

Anxiously and impatiently awaiting news on an arrest. :praying:

I do not want to see this case go cold.

I agree with you 100%. .

Just expand on that a lot gangs today don't wear colors or create tattoos anymore. They do crews by street or area, in a lot of places now. Harder to say who is doing what. No crime in hanging out in your area of living, no crime in hanging with someone of criminal intent. It basically one down to jail if caught and the rest let go by law.

I think it was unpaid debt , that or revenge. Shooting some one father in the front of their home where crime is null is a eye opener.

After Robinson went missing, concerned citizens were asking why an Amber Alert wasn’t issued.

“My goal is to make sure that we start looking for these children as soon as possible,” Figures said. “When you take into consideration, the people who are responsible for that child’s whereabouts.. the parents, the guardians or whomever it is; whenever all of those people have been contacted, and they have confirmed that child is missing then that is when the alert should go out and we start looking for that child.”

This would be called Hiawayi Alert.
