I wonder if this POI was expecting the mother to get some of the old fellas money. Then she broke up and he was angry that he would not be in line for a hand out.

He got a not guilty verdict March 2011
I wonder who posted his bond.
Oh God... I know where you are going.... I don't even want to think about it.
Seriously though. Where is this guy getting bond money...
This is so sad. Two beautiful children and a man who was truly a huge help to this little family-murdered by another ( IMO ) career criminal who should have been in jail. I don't understand why these violent people are given so many chances-now there are two families and many friends whose lives will never be the same because of his actions. My prayers go to the family of these innocents, and I pray this man is caught before he does any more harm.

well, maybe drug money. That seems to be the only thing he has not been arrested for so far...
Strange that someone with his record...hadn't been. Sorta makes you go hmmmmmmmm. imowell, maybe drug money. That seems to be the only thing he has not been arrested for so far...[/quote]
Oh, no. I believe two of the comments under the news articles talked about money given to mom. I'm hoping they were incorrect.ya know what (and I can't believe it has come to this...) but I can easier accept that he obtained the money via drug dealing that to even entertain the idea that somehow Mr. Girdner either willingly paid or was swindled out of money that paid to bond out his own assailant.
If I find that out, I will truly come unglued.

Something else I was told was that Mr. Girdner was supposed to see someone about buying a house on Sunday afternoon. I pray he did not have a lot of cash around for that reason.

Oh no. He would need a down payment if he didn't pay for it completely in cash. At his age this likely came from cashing out some investments and putting the money in his checking account so he could write the closing agent and bank a check.Something else I was told was that Mr. Girdner was supposed to see someone about buying a house on Sunday afternoon. I know his house was listed for sale. The listing is posted way back thread....last night someone posted it. Probably around page 3 or so.
I hadn't heard about him buying a new one yet.
