The car? Revenge on one of mom's family members/mom? I am ABSOLUTELY DUMBFOUNDED that this 🤬🤬🤬 was on the streets...Prayers for both families. I am sometimes SO sorry to be a member of this society. Who let him free?????

I couldn't post about it before the ABI released this info but I got a call back from my source this afternoon and he told me that they had a suspect but had not apprehended him. That was the reason we weren't getting any firm updates. I was aware that he was out on bond for the violations but I was NOT AWARE of the priors in 2008. I don't think my source was either or he would have told me. (My source is not with the ABI.)

I am so LIVID I can barely think, speak or type. I cannot believe this guy has been out on the loose since 2008 AND THEN HE WAS RELEASED ON BOND on the current charges he is facing?!? God help the Judge who released this creep on a low bond. He better go ahead and retire because his career is over around here.

I don't know the connection to the family.

I know that the residents were raising cane for info to be released. They wanted to know if there was a killer on the loose or if this was a domestic type case. The heat was on big time for the ABI to finally release some info. I really believe the ABI thought they could apprehend him sooner than later.

This guy has NOTHING to lose now. He will be facing the death penalty. He knows it, I know it and every Alabamian knows it. He is extremely dangerous and I hope no one else dies before this is all said and done.


My emotions are all over the place. I'm SO sad....but I am mad as hell too.

My heart just breaks for everyone. God Bless these families. This should not have happened.

Oh, and if Nancy Grace comes on talking about the "babysitter who ran off with the kids" I swear I will throw something at my TV first, then I will haunt her relentlessly for her lack of professionalism. I better not even tune in because that will be the thing that puts me over the edge today.

Was it mom? I wonder how recently it was when mom and Deandra "broke up"? Last week or just a few minutes ago?

This is so sad. Two beautiful children and a man who was truly a huge help to this little family-murdered by another ( IMO ) career criminal who should have been in jail. I don't understand why these violent people are given so many chances-now there are two families and many friends whose lives will never be the same because of his actions. My prayers go to the family of these innocents, and I pray this man is caught before he does any more harm.

Has LE been looking for this perp since two killings this past Monday night? Or was that the earlier case? What a monster? LE needs to just take him down and do him in when they catch him!

I was told by more than one person "she just broke up with this 22 year old young guy a few days ago".

Oh, lawdie. ITA. If mom had any inkling that her ex was a suspect in these other local murders, she should have grabbed her children and drove to the other side of the USA. So sad!

They've just been looking for him recently - since Mr. Girdner & the twins disappeared.

A jury found him not guilty of the 2008 murders even though 2 people identified him as the killer. Don't ask. I don't understand a lot of jury decisions.

How awful. I am glad they have a suspect and hopefully will have him in custody soon. Any news about the car? Did he likely steal it?

Is Dallas County a city or is this the actual county? I went to Vinelink and just don't see "Dallas County." :(

Well, you know she had to know his history so when they went missing any normal person would have thought he had something to do with it.

Dallas county is an actual county in Alabama. Selma is in Dallas County. That is where the other murders were committed.

How did LE find the children and Mr. Girdner out in that rural area in the dark? Was someone else with Deandra and told LE where the bodies were located?

Yes, the mother.
Dallas County is where Selma is. That is where the other murders in 2008 were committed

It is a county. Selma is the city in Dallas county - where the crimes occurred that he stood trial for in 2008. It runs adjacent to Lowndes County.

And there is a jail in Dallas County? Vinelink is not showing Dallas County when I went looking for Lee.
