James Michael Guarry was last seen July 15 at his home on the 3800 block of Linton Lane in Foley. Guarry was described as a white male with green eyes and brown hair. He may be suffering from a condition that impairs his judgement.

The article in Post #1 says "Linton Lane," but google maps calls it "Downing Lane." I even google walked it, and the street sign at the intersection of County Road 12 and Linton Lane has a street sign with "Linton Lane" on it. I have reported this discrepancy to google maps.

James' residence is on a residential street behind several strip malls. He is also near the intersection of County Road 12 and State Highway 59.

I hope James can be found quickly.

A man’s body has been found in a pond near where a 70-year-old Baldwin County man was last seen after going missing two weeks ago, police said.

A Foley police detective working with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Air Unit spotted what they believed to be a body in a pond in a wooded area near County Road 12 and Linton Lane, Foley Deputy Chief of Police Thurston Bullock said Wednesday
The body was found near the home of 70-year-old Guarry Michael James, who was last seen July 15 and was reported missing Tuesday by a family member. Authorities were not able to confirm Wednesday night whether the body was that of James, whose home is on Linton Lane.

I couldn't find anything officially declaring that the body found near the home was his, but the Missing Person's Case fb group declared that to be the case five days ago.

Missing Persons Cases Network

I didn't have much time to dive deep, but I'll try to confirm? or if someone else has better updated info, that'd be great, too!

Family prepared for the worse, waiting on body identification

  • Article was dated August 1, 2019
  • His sister is getting her DNA tested for comparison to the body found.
  • Results could take two to four weeks.
Since is has already 2.5 weeks, I'm estimating that getting the results will be closer to the four weeks estimate.

At this point, praying James can be brought home to his family, and for family and friends to find strength and peace. MOO
