Daniella's threads were pulled "for review of the topics being discussed." I missed a day or two so not sure what was being discussed but maybe someone who read them understands what exactly that means.

There were many posts that were in violation of the rules here at WS, so they took the thread offline until they can get all of those posts removed.

We also know that the suspect JD is the nephew of Daniella’s mother in law (or ex mother in law).

JDT is baby daddy mom...never MIL as TT was married to someone else for the entirety of his relationship with DNV so far as records indicate.

Yes, father was taken away in the raid as JDT mentioned it in her comments but I wonder if his wife was the 3rd person or it was someone else?

I am really curious to see if his bail in decreased. I am thinking not. Also I am curious if the gf would decide not to be a witness. It seems like these two also had a rough on and off again relationship. Hopefully there is not any chance she would go back to him. The State could still prosecute, correct? But would it be harder without the main witness?

Yes. I'm curious how the Prosecutor plays this out and if the judge goes for a reduction in bail. Might be interesting also to see if any charges are added or if charges are reduced too.

Potentially if they try to get his bail reduced, yes. To convey the seriousness to the judge in the argument to keep him behind bars.

I will expand the search area to look for any missing persons reports in surrounding counties but within Mobile City it doesn't appear the victim was listed as missing. One MSM report indicated that loud noises were heard from the property. So, I wonder who reported the noises or did the victim escape and report the situation herself? By all accounts the mother and father of JCD were living at the property. Others have pointed out that due to the size of the property (under 2,000/SF) that it is unlikely that anyone living there would not have heard noise of some kind. The assessors card says that there is main house and what looks like a shed garage. Maybe there were other outbuildings on the property and that might have been where victim was being held that were not on the tax card.

Is there a link or MSM that states the parents lived there with him and the GF? I agree that it seems unlikely for him to be able to hold her against her will if other adults are present.

Is there a link or MSM that states the parents lived there with him and the GF? I agree that it seems unlikely for him to be able to hold her against her will if other adults are present.

Wondering if there was a freestanding garage or workshop on the property that she could have been locked in. Noisy machinery could also block out screams.

I understand the hearing went forward but the order was handwritten so it may not be updated to the docket yet. The bail was slightly reduced to $35,000. I have not seen a MSM article yet.

On August 2nd, JD chamged his FB pic (one of his FB accounts) to a missing poster for DNV. I’m happy to include a link if I’m allowed. Is that within the rules or no?

ETA: is Aug 2nd a significant date that we know of? When did the ordeal begin re: his current charges?

In many DV cases there is very low bond or no bond and just a restraining order since the court (rightly or wrongly) assumes the abuser is only a danger to his or her intimate partner.

I think the judge had to look at similar bonds from other cases in the jurisdiction and lowered it to be more in line with what has been set in other cases.

Maybe $50k was too much for what they currently have him in jail for but $35k bond is still high enough to have me thinking they're trying to keep him in there for more than "just" (not trying to downplay it) the DV charge he's facing
