He was located about two miles from the home.

I think so too. He probably succumbed to the elements, Buck survived because of his fur coat and being outdoors was normal for him. Jon Jon didn't really have much of a chance in a short sleeve t-shirt and pjs.

I love that the picture over the sheriff's shoulder during the presser is that of Johnathan's faithful dog. It tears me up looking at it. I was really hoping for a different outcome as I know you all were.

I think the pup is a male named Buck.

Moo..I kinda wish they had let the father be part of the search instead of locking him away. The father has a relationship with the dog...the dog might of come to him..moo
