Johnathan Everett Boley, 4, was last seen about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 7000 block of Highway 195 in Jasper.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Johnathan Everett Boley, a 4-year-old boy who is currently missing and believed to be in danger.

Walker County Sheriff Nick Smith said Boley was believed to have been with a dog at the time of his disappearance. "Finding this dog could help us in finding the missing child," said Smith.

It looks like it's mostly small farms in the immediate area. Does not seem to be any remote or mountainous areas nearby. There are a couple of small bodies of water though.

If Johnathon goes into the water that Labrador will jump in with him and keep him above water. IMO

Divers will be brought in to search some ponds around the house. Volunteers who were searching were sent home for the night.

Deputies were planning to execute a search warrant at the father's home, but called off that search after finding what they called "unusual explosive devices" on the property.

According to the Walker County Sheriff's Office, Boley was supposed to be returned to his mother sometime Thursday. Officials add, Boley's mother is flying in from Florida Thursday.

Search crews will continue searching for Boley throughout the night.

LE needs to quickly obtain a recording of the Mom's voice calling the boy. Searchers can use that recording to coax the boy out. Having male voices shouting his name will scare him and likely make him hide. As silly as it sounds, the recording of his Mom's voice should be something like - "Johnathan, come to Mama. It's time to eat. We're having "_____" (his favorite food).

Kids hide when they are scared.

? He was last seen on Wednesday morning. Today is Wednesday, Dec 31. That seems accurate.
