I wonder what would trigger them? I pray not a little boy and his dog. I hated typing that. IMO
That's what I fear too, there doesn't appear to be a trigger mechanism? Google says ...

Common methods used to trigger a pipe bomb include:
  • Fuses: A simple safety fuse or visco fuse can be used. The user lights the fuse, which burns down to a blasting cap or detonator, providing a time delay.
  • Command Wire: The device can be connected by an electrical firing cable to a manual trigger or power source controlled by the perpetrator from a distance.
  • Timers: An electrical circuit can be set up using common items like a washing machine timer or a digital timer.
  • Remote Control: A radio link, using devices such as a mobile phone, pager, car alarm, or garage door opener, can be used to wirelessly detonate the device. The signal from a transmitter activates a receiver, which then completes the firing circuit.
  • Victim-Operated (Booby Traps): The device is designed to detonate when moved or interacted with by a victim. This can involve switches that are activated by:

Is where I put the red arrow the trip wire? Why would the place be such a booby trap??

So he's playing what on his property? Phony end of times soldier? With a sudden missing child?

Was it booby trapped? Only it didn't go off?

What are the statistics on little boys going missing AND a family compound strewn with pipe bombs?

I don't like this.

I think it's suspicious that the dog also went missing and didn't come back.

And the dog wasn't on the neighbor's trail cam longer than the little boy has been reported missing --

And if they "went missing" together....

LE has eight locations "across the street" where explosives have been located? What the heck?

Also says a neighbor sees the dog every afternoon on his game camera at the corn feeder, hasn't seen the dog since the afternoon of the 26th.

Is he being cooperative? Sheriff can't answer that, the FBI interviewed him last night and is going to speak to him again today.

Any indication something criminal has occurred in JB's disappearance? Sheriff says it's too early to tell. But with all the ground and air searches and he still hasn't been found, it's really concerning.

The photo of the apparent "pipe bomb," looks like a random piece of PVC pipe packed with dirt. If PVC is considered "bomb making materials," I hope LE has more evidence than that.

I don't know a thing about pipe bombs except what I've seen in the news. I saw the image and thought the same - pvc filled with dirt. Something seems off about this explosives stuff.

I think this thumbnail is incredibly misleading. I've clicked numerous MSM articles about these "pipe bombs" and none of them look like the obvious metal pipe with end caps this thumbnail is showing.

Going to assume from this that Jameson Boley is a Purple Heart recipient. Article is from 2013.

ANNISTON ARMY DEPOT, Ala. -- Eight Purple Heart recipients attended a Wounded Warrior Hunt at Anniston Army Depot Jan. 11-13. This was the first time the installation has held such an event.

Yeah, I think the pipe bomb thing is just attention grabbing. In the video there are no bomb folks out there on the property, that I saw anyway. Waiting for more infro from LE. The little guy is supposedly with his dog. I pray hes found soon. We all need to be able to do the Happy Dance after the last devastating news. CMO rest in peace.

I hope you're right and the boy (and his dog) are just lost, but together.

The Sheriff said that the FBI explosives team is out there during the presser.
He also said that neighbors reported explosions yesterday.
I don't think it's a matter of attention grabbing, although the more attention to this little guy missing, the better.
IMO.
