MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding 23-year-old man missing since last week.

Joshua Kern was last seen leaving his residence in the 8600 block of Bellingrath Road on foot around 6 p.m. Thursday, May 23. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve camouflage shirt, tan fishing shorts and no shoes.

According to authorities, Kern does not have access to a vehicle or a cell phone.

Anyone with information that could help investigators with this case is asked to call the Mobile Police Department at 251-208-7211.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department announced Thursday that officers found the body of Joshua Kern near a wooded area along Bellingrath Road.

An MPD spokesperson said there is no foul play suspected in Kern’s death.
