Excellent. This is good for the dogs. Perfect.
I am confused. How is it good for the dogs?
1. The second man in the video is the suspect. Per chief.
2. The search will be of known places the suspect frequents.

Is it just me or how does this make any sense at all. What is he suspected of? Is it the man who they arrested? If so, why is he not in jail. He could jump in a car and be in BFE in 3 hours. I'm just not seeing any logic in what's going on right now. If it weren't for a missing beautiful child, I would have left the theater a long time ago. So frustrating.
Not unusual for police to have a suspect but not have enough evidence for an arrest or charges. Lots of cases where suspects run around free at least for a while.

“Misty foggy nights and early morning when the dew is fresh on the grass is the best time for tracking and trailing with dogs. Additionally, scenting is great during light rain showers because the scent particles will absorb the moisture and expand making them easier for the dog to follow.”

Wait what? I have seen no reference of any scents being picked up or reference that her body has been moved. My quote was referencing the Chief’s response to the reporter’s question on if she could be being moved around while she’s alive. I haven’t heard any references to K-9 hits.

I am so sorry I have corrected my post.

Hi margarita,
This was just my theory:
The possibility was searchers had a K9 bloodhound hit on Cupcake’s scent at one of the other search locations but prior to executing their search she had been moved?’ They’re going to keep doing grid searches on any area’s their targets have frequented.

I have given myself a timeout for my post.

Thanks. What I always heard is that rain can wash away the evidence. At least it's good for something like scenting dogs.

(We need a whole thread about doggie jammies and boots, moo)
OT: Agreed! I'm a greyhound mommy and they don't have enough body fat to keep them warm! They need their jammies!

Indeed. It is a double edged sword as I mentioned (in another post).

Woodside Condominiums
Parkway Villa Apartment Complex
Marland Apartments

Woodside and Parkway Villas are low end but not projects. Maryland is subsidy eligible with many subsidized tenants but not a project housing complex.

Thank you. Local knowledge is always so helpful here on WS. :)

Now I just need to digest that info for a while - one thing it could possibly mean is that KM was taken for profit, and several people are involved.

(Don’t do that!)

Actually you got me thinking about some things. In theory one could be moved dead or alive. The subject of tracking and scents is indeed worthy of discussion, especially since that is what they’re doing right now. :) Getcho butt back here :)

Have the police ever stated publicly that they have cleared family members of any involvement?
Other than saying it’s not a custody issue. They haven’t cleared anybody. Chief was pretty clear that they consider everyone a POI.

I guess so, but makes me wonder what the evidence is that makes him a suspect.
What if he didn't know he was a suspect. But, he sees the video and knows that's him in it. Now he knows he's a suspect. Maybe they're trying to flush him out.

One thing that must be noted re: the potential “profit” angle (barf)—-these guys who provide the demand for the supply chain, they have jobs and money, otherwise there wouldn’t be any money to be made to begin with.

Example from just 2 days ago / BBM:

Feds take down the world's 'largest dark web child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 marketplace'
Oct. 16, 2019

“The now-shuttered English-language site, called (snipped by me) contained (link to documents: more than 200,000 unique videos ) or almost 8 terabytes of data showing sex acts involving children, toddlers and infants, according to the 18-page criminal indictment unsealed here Wednesday, and processed 7,300 Bitcoin transactions worth more than $730,000.”

“The now-shuttered English-language site, called "Welcome to Video," contained (link to documents more than 200,000 unique videos ) or almost 8 terabytes of data showing sex acts involving children, toddlers and infants, according to the 18-page criminal indictment unsealed here Wednesday, and processed 7,300 Bitcoin transactions worth more than $730,000.”

I don't like the thought of a 'for profit' transaction either. But what is making me consider this is the 3 child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 for distribution charges that PS has now incurred.
Also didn't someone (his lawyer?) say he had a 'job'. Not sure about that as I am not finding a link at the moment.

He may be a bottom feeder in the supply chain, is all I am thinking of as a (horrible) possibility.

Agreed, “may” being the keyword. There is certainly no shortage of people worldwide who pay big bucks for this stuff. LIVE.

ETA: @SouthAussie
It is also important to note that so far he has been charged with “intent” and not actual “distribution”. Nor are there any charges for “manufacturing”, etc. We also don’t how old the victims are on his phone, or really anything.

Parkway accepts Section 8.
Parkway Villa eBrochure

Woodside probably does too but it and Parkway aren’t primary sec 8 housing. Pretty much any property can be section 8 as long as you have a qualified tenant and your properties meet their requirements. Maryland is a little different. It’s primarily a subsidized property but not directly managed by the housing authority like TomBrown.
