When did LE allege that the mother and the aunt didn't keep an eye on her?
We already know that no adult was present when she went missing. The mother was at the complex, the kids were outside playing.
What else has been said that might not be true?
Imo
We don’t know the mother was at the complex do we? After reading the mom’s fb posts I doubt she was there. MOO

I've been following since the beginning, this is the first thought I have to contribute.
I've been thinking about what the Chief is saying while showing the video. He's saying he is interested in the "third" guy, the "first" guy who walks by the children. Then he says we know who the children are and the second guy.
Okay so, I think he refers to the first guy to walk past the kids as the third guy could be because he is following the line of thought that PS is suspect person one, the second guy in video is the second suspect and now the first person in the video is the "third" suspect or someone he really wants to identify. This still leaves Ms QJ as possibly involved or she connects with PS shortly after the timeframe this crime occurs. I think this goes toward a theory that Cupcake has been moved around.
All just MOO
There is no third guy in the video. The first person who walks by is the POI they need to talk to. The second man is a suspect who they have already located.

I think if that is the correct vehicle it was a miracle they found it. First it was a dark green with tan trim Toyota, then it it maybe was a 4 runner, but it turned out to be blue with a silver bumper and its a Sequoia.
Plus I can't believe they made no effort to hide the car especially if it had just been used in a child abduction.
If the guy arrested was involved in this abduction there is absolutely no reason he should not have been rearrested for it. I'm thinking no dna match and cops are still looking for the abductor. I'm glad both he and the woman are now exposed for their other crimes, but I think red herring too. jmo
And to add to that the car had a black woman not a white woman. Honestly not much about the initial “witness” reports matched those 2 POI’s. So yep i’d say they found a needle in a haystack on that one if they r in fact the responsible party(s). Now if they could just do that to find cupcake!!!
I also call red herring. IMO

I think they are picking up something from the ground (leaves?) and putting it in a bag.
On the video I was able to slow down, it looks like paper. Sheets of paper IMO..

Sorry, I'm lost reading recent posts and trying to catch up. Have LE revealed where they are searching today? Or is the discussion of certain apartment buildings and parks all just speculation? TIA.
Speculation. MOO

Magic City Classic is next weekend. LE will be strained, thousands of out of town visitors flooding streets and hotels. I pray she is found before then.

I don't know if it was the mother or the aunt who was there. We can't discuss FB posts but as I understand, the child was visiting someone there. Maybe her aunt lived there, and was supposed to be the one looking after them.
I think it was inaccurately reported in the beginning that the mother and Cupcake were attending the party.

Yeah, in the video it looks like one of the kids was carrying a plastic bag or a piece of paper when they went out of the frame. Imo

I am so confused! So they know who the man is who the kids follow? Isn’t he the 2nd one?

Yes I know, I was just commenting on the Chief referring to him as 'the third guy, the first guy that walks past the children' and wondering about the 'closing the loop', speculating and wondering if what that means? Does it mean if this guy identifies himself he is not a suspect but if he goes unidentified does that make him another POI?

He does say “3rd” in the video. I am thinking it was a slip. No one there asked to clarify I do not believe. The presser is VERY confusing... JMO

Many people view race differently. There are some people that will say if you even have a drop of AA blood in you, you are called AA. Others would call that same person “mixed”. And others still, depending on skin tone and facial features, may insist that person is Caucasian.
This is a very good point. A friend of mine who is a light-to-medium-skinned AA woman says that her nieces and nephews refer to her as their “white” aunt, because she is lighter skinned than her other relatives.

After looking at a slowed and zoomed version of the video which I posted but was removed it looked like the first man threw something to the ground as he passed by. The children then immediately crouched and began picking up something from the ground. Earlier in the video they definitely seemed to be picking up something paper like. MOO

I am from the area as well and agree that is a pretty busy time. When I go eat around that time I have to park in the parking lot for the park/library usually is usually half way full with people going to eat and for drinks and a decent amount of foot traffic.

I have seen it both ways on Saturday; busy and not so busy. It is more likely it was busy, though, with it being football season. All that said, I expect there are hundreds of cameras in that area as well, so it should be easy to locate a suspicious vehicle.

Yes, they have identified the second person who is a suspect. It's the first person, who is a POI, that they need to locate. LE said the search will be conducted in the area the POI is known to frequent. Imo

I don't know. I didn't get the impression he was talking about a third person. He seemed to be pretty sure there was a man who walked by first, who is the person they are looking for, and then says the second person is a suspect. He never mentions anyone else.
This is the first time I've heard any mention about a third person in the video.
Maybe it was the third time it was shown that a person walked by, and he said third by mistake. They rewinded it I think.
I have not heard anyone mention a third person in the video until now.
He did say he believed there are others involved, though.

Imo

Yes, they did seem to pick things up as soon as the first man walked by. It's hard to tell if they were just continuing to pick things up off the ground or if he threw something down. Imo

Yes, he definitely mention the third person, talk about confusing , but then you watch the video over and over and see there are only two men. When the first guy walks by, I think he means the three people in the shot at that moment.... slip of the tongue IMO

It might not be too difficult to pick out the suspect's vehicle from cctv, even if the abduction took place between cameras. One would watch the cctv footage of the line of traffic just before the place where the abduction occurred, and watch the line of traffic just after. Is there a vehicle, somewhat matching the description of the witness, that gets out of the queue, stops for a few minutes, or turns around and goes back? If there is a vehicle that is out of queue and cannot be accounted for, then perhaps it is the suspect's vehicle.
