I hope one of the lessons learned from this case is people need to install cameras at their homes and businesses. With that being said, my camera system hasn't worked since hurricane Michael. Worst internet service ever.

Birmingham officials and volunteers conducted a grid search in east Birmingham Sunday, in connection to the kidnapping of 3-year-old Kamille Mckinney, that did not produce any evidence, according to officials.

At 1:00 p.m. Birmingham Police Department personnel, Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel, additional surrounding agencies and volunteers searched a 2 mile area just north of Springville near Huffman Road. According to officials, the search concluded around 5:30 p.m. and did not yield any evidence to aid in the investigation.

Birmingham police and Birmingham Fire and Rescue, along with other undisclosed agencies and volunteers, began a grid search at 1 p.m., said Birmingham police spokesman Sgt. Johnny Williiams. The search was conducted in the east area of Birmingham which extended about two miles, he said.
The area was just north of Springville Road near Huffman Road. The search was completed at 5:30 pm and did not produce any evidence to help the investigation, Williams said.

No additional information about the grid search or the ongoing investigation has been released.

Sounds as if the search area was in the vicinity of the Shell station ... if that is the same Shell station that PS was caught on CCTV and is captured within this pic of that area.

Later Sunday afternoon, Birmingham police released store surveillance photos from a nearby Shell station depicting a person of interest and the suspect vehicle – which was a Toyota Sequoia.

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
Yes, very possible that the green house has since installed another camera at the side of their property facing back there. Google streetview is from 2015 - 4 years ago.
Definitely is not from that back corner camera. imo
My 85 mother has fake cameras on her house. Something she bought out of a magazine.

Speculating.....
If the father has mentioned the cousin and commented on her child watch skills, is it possible that others are aware of it too?
Frequent occurrence? Because the father does not live in the Tom Brown Village complex. So how would he know of this happening? Someone posted on SM? Or has he been hanging out there with a girlfriend/friend/family and seen it occur? Or is someone reporting it to him?

If the father knows, then others do also.

What if this has been talked about previously on SM or word of mouth - and someone with ulterior motives knew CC would be unsupervised on weekend nights while her mother would have a date?

MOO
Speculation only

“The search was completed at 5:30 pm and did not produce any evidence to help the investigation.”

I guess they aren’t even going to say anything about any testing being required before making a statement...it’s just a flat out “zilch”.

Alrighty then. Marking for reference & bolding the latest news.

Yes, I think I captured it in my pic .. as I googled searched on Huffman Road.
"Just north of Springville Road, and near Huffman Road" is a Shell station.
The Shell station is also just along Center Point Parkway.
I wonder if this is the same Shell station where PS was caught on surveillance video.

Posting this here for the sleuthers...someone else made this connection- design on shirt same as the one POI was wearing. That is the video of the original suspect at the gas station, and the second is the video of where the man is walking by where the girls are at playing and she walks off with him. What is circled is the design on his shirt is the exact same in both pictures.

New to the board. Looking at the map, north of springville rd near Huffman rd looks like it might be another apartment complex... possibly country park apartment homes. For those not from the area, this route is the most likely for PS to travel home from tom Brown village. That route is 59 to Roebuck parkway, passing Huffman high school and it’s a straight shot to center point. Possible he dropped her off somewhere on his way home, if it’s him. MOO

Hmmm. Then we either had the wrong Shell Station earlier or I missed someone posting the one near Huffman Rd. ??? I dunno. This is the one I have in our maps but it was just speculation anyway, so probably doesn't matter.

This is the one that is "nearby" Tom Brown Village.

I don't know which Shell station PS was caught on video. Was the address of the Shell station published somewhere?
I was only speculating and wondering, because I saw a Shell station right in the vicinity of the search area.
