Hi Everyone!

Brand new to websleuths. Please take it easy on me as I don't know the etiquette. Metro Birmingham, AL native and I've been following Cupcake's case very closely.

Welcome neighbor. Read the rules. No posting social media stuff and make sure most everything is marked “MOO” (my opinion only) when speculating or theorizing. I’m new too but you will find this place full of internet super sleuths. Fascinating place I plan on visiting often even after this case comes to a resolution.

There is a video of the arrest of the suspects. Does anyone have that handy or remember when it was posted?
A Limp is jumping out at me, but I don't remember where or who I saw limping. But, it's definitely there in my memory bank. Maybe the female that was arrested?
It would have been posted Sunday night, pretty sure. MOO

Since you asked so nicely, we’ll be kind :) Seriously, nothing to worry about here. Lots of good folks here.

Welcome to WS - sorry it’s under these circumstances

Welcome! Just remember victim friendly. No social media rumors. Post source with facts. And state your opinion when it is one. And you will do just fine.
Hardest part is figuring out all the abbreviations used :)

In fact, one started walking away before he did, right? As if he said there was something over there. What were they picking up on the ground? Leaves? He may have said there was more of whatever it was over there.
Welcome, JessicaRome!
I do think he showed them something that they couldn't resist, I thought one of them took a step towards him first before turning around and following him. I'm not sure what they were picking up off the ground but they were doing that before the men walked by.

I think he just walks like someone who has big pants that are falling down.
Imo
Would be unfortunate if that were the case, since a distinct limp can be used to ID someone, while big pants that are falling down, well, not so much.

Watch the video again. The first man comes from the right hand corner on the pavement. The second man comes out of the trees. MOO
If you watch the video on youtube, and enlarge it, you can see that the second man is approaching the kids from a walkway through some trees, but it looks like an open area.

He is moving with intention, however. And whatever he said to those two babies, he was successful in getting them to follow him.

Do we have any idea who the other child is?

There's even a list for that. :)

Good find!!

In the still photos with the girls the man appears to be in dark clothing. Compared to the photo of the abductor at the gas station, he is in black clothing.

I think they got the right guy !! Now to find the other guy and evidence.

Imo
The family was sooooo confident she wouldn’t go with a stranger.
Who does the other kid belong to?

It may not be a stranger.

They don’t release any info on the other kid.

I’ve watched it so many times I can’t look anymore. I keep thinking he almost drags his left leg at times - like there’s an injury or it’s not as strong as the right one. Then I replay it and see absolutely nothing noteworthy :mad::mad: No more videos for me today.

Well, her dad said she wouldn't get in a car with a stranger and wasn't too friendly but with delicious looking candy I would think even a child like that could be easily lured.
Apparently the man picked her up and put her in the car. I doubt she would have gone in willingly.
LE has spoken with the parents of the other child but her name is unknown.

They said plus 37. So 8:02 pm roughly.

In this press conference he says at the beginning of showing video (about 13:50 remaining) he says “first there is a 37 minute difference between the time stamp on the video and the actual video of what occurs”
(Weird he says actual video? But also he never says plus or minus here)
Am I missing him say it elsewhere?
A recap of today's events for anyone just getting in.

Seeing her with that man brought tears to my eyes, a lump in my throat and my stomach to turn. I can’t stop thinking about this beautiful baby.

Candy or a puppy is enough to entice any three-year-old, unfortunately.

Candy...lost puppy...your mom sent me. Little children are so trusting.

And Welcome to Websleuths @JessicaRome198 !

Especially two little ones out on their own after dark....."Hey, your parents want you home, c'mon!"

I am thinking they didn't try to grab the other 3 year old (although they might have planned to) because perhaps that is when the brother stepped into the picture, looking for Cupcake and then he saw the moment she was put in the car.
They probably took off then and left the other child behind. Maybe also this other child ran off a bit and they couldn't risk running after the child (since one was in the car and only one guy did the grabbing it seems) and just got CC and left. MOO

Did u happen to see shoes? I think they r on. But could be my mind playing tricks on me. How and why did they end up in parking lot?

If they were loose she literally could have been yanked right out of them IMO
