This is what keeps nagging at me.

Now I have seen plenty of “attempted abduction” reports in other cases where there are reports of “two males attempting to lure”. But when it really comes down to most of the cases we’ve seen, they have turned out to be single perps. It is certainly possible though imo that we have just two perverts on our hands and not necessarily a “ring”. In other words, two persons doesn’t necessarily lend itself to a conspiracy involving others. The buck could stop there. Or not.

Thank you! I’m sorry I didn’t listen past what the first reporter or in air person said. I see now where he says they spoke with a family member who says that was a cousin she was playing with.

I grabbed a screenshot from the video as well. Clearly shows back of child care and what we thought was a road looks like the end of the road with a grassy area to me.

Start at about :50 in. The reporter, Stoney Sharp, says a family member lives a few yards away and she says that the video shows KM playing with a "little cousin." (paraphrasing) MOO

Whoever the child is, I'm thinking that's who Cupcake was visiting and the child lives there and they were playing with the kids at the Birthday party.

I also think it's possible that the other little girl told her mom that the man had candy and that's where the story of the man passing out candy came from. It was one of the first things we heard when reports came out.
Although of course that information may have come from a totally different child, too.

Yeah, I wonder where the search on Sunday is going to be. All they said was it was an area he frequented but they did not say whether it was a park, a community, or a residential area or what.
Does anybody remember anything else they said about it? I know they said they already have enough volunteers but I don't remember them saying what part of town it was or whether it was outside or another apartment complex.

I don’t understand why they can’t get a 24 hour DNA turnaround??? We can do it in less than that in the UK if a matter of life and death and the Chief is willing to pay for it. I accept that we are tiny in comparison to the USA but ergo the more crimes and higher the population equals more forensic labs surely ?
I just can’t wrap my head around what takes so long??? MOO

No, they are not saying much at all, except that everyone is a person of interest and they have not found any connection between the suspects they arrested and the family.
I don't think they suspect family involvement, though.

Hi, What are your thoughts on the relationship or lack thereof between the two persons seen in the video? Do you think there is a connection between these two individuals? If so, doesn’t that indicate a conspiracy between at minimum two males? LE has said said these two are males, but as we know have not indicated that they necessarily think he’s involved. Tia for your input on this.

I’m not sure. The initial narrative involved a man and a woman, and the only thing to support two men is a video.

I’m sure there were lots of people coming and going, whether they attended the party or not.

At this time, I think he’s just some random guy who happened to be walking by.

If this is the case, just a random walking by who is not involved, then this brings us back to the classic pedo abduction scenario. The distinction between 1 vs. 2 perps has potentially significant implications.

If this is the case, he could be someone who lives in the neighborhood, I mean very close like practically a neighbor, moo. This is of course if PS is not our man.

I may have missed this so sorry if you talked about it. I just jumped back here so I am behind. I watched the video from the presser. I slowed it down. It looks like a lady or man with long hair running into the scene from the upper right corner. JMO. I also noticed the kids appear to be picking up paper, either individual sheets or MAYBE wrapping paper from opened gifts? Or even trash. I wonder if they could be helping to pick up wrapping from the opened bday party gifts? Also at the very end the cat runs from the bottom under the truck crouched down like something spooked it. Maybe a scream from kid? My other thought was what if they are making laps around the block? Could it be the same person? Regardless that first one IMO could be female?? Have they given any physical description? Sorry if discussed already.

One thing I wanted to note, I thought it was interesting how the Chief gave his opinion on the “20 minute” thing, meaning his opinion on planned vs. spontaneous (paraphrasing). Usually LE will answer a question like that at this stage of the investigation specifically with something like “We are looking into all possibilities” or “I do not have any information on that at this time”, or “I can’t comment on that”...Yes, he said that they are not ruling out anything at this time, but I mean giving a specific response to that question.
