Does a grid search mean the Sunday search will likely be in an outdoor area - a park or similar?
Seems fairly logical, to me, that a grid search is most suited to an outdoor space.

I asked the same question but I don't think there was an answer so I'm assuming LE has not said anything about the area being searched other than it is where the POI frequents. Imo

Guessing the around the same time as the ALEA Alert? That was updated the next day (10/13) with the new vehicle (Toyota Sequoia) information and again after the vehicle was recovered the same night.

Now I’m going to be very specific on technicalities. IIRC, I remember when that piece of information came out and it was when the photos of the vehicle on the road were released, before PS and QJ were arrested. In that specific quote by @PommyMommy that I’m referencing, iirc, it was not stated specifically that it came from the 11 year old. Although I do believe this to possibly be the case, that it did come from the 11 year old, I want to be sure we have that definitively in quote if stated as fact my friend.

And if we do find such a quote (hard to keep up with every single thing here, it could exist), I would think the witness would be able to differentiate between a white and black person as I mentioned, even if it was a child witness and even if it was dark, particularly in what appears to be a predominantly African American neighborhood.

Normally I am veeeeeery cautious when it comes to witness descriptions; I personally believe they are highly subjective with room for much error. (The Oprah purse snatching experiment nailed that one for me many years ago). But if it was a child who saw a white woman, or at least even “person” (genders can be tricky sometimes with long hair, etc), I’m not ready to discount this.

Maybe even race distinction as related to witness descriptions does get tricky sometimes.

Many people view race differently. There are some people that will say if you even have a drop of AA blood in you, you are called AA. Others would call that same person “mixed”. And others still, depending on skin tone and facial features, may insist that person is Caucasian.

I share your sentiment. I'm going to keep thinking positive thoughts, unless something transpires to change that. I'm praying someone took her because they wanted a child to love, not abuse. I'm aware the odds are against it but I just can't think otherwise at this point.

It is a black wire fence. You can see both the houses side and the Tom Brown Village side of the fence in this pic. It looks like it is a high fence on both sides.

I just rewatched the video. I think the girls were on the Tom Brown Village side of the fence, at the sidewalk. Not within the fenced playground area.

That black fence looks like it belongs to the daycare center - which would probably be locked if the daycare was closed at that hour. JMO

I wonder if LE are being quiet today out of respect for KM's family ... with their prayer vigil having been today. They have been going through enough. If there is no positive news at the moment, maybe a brief interlude for them is nice while LE work feverishly behind the scene.

I don’t recall the word “only” being “specifically” used, but perhaps pommy has something in her magic box on that. It seems it might be the case though, idk. I don’t recall witness references to anyone else.

Obviously the other child is a (potential) witness, moo. As is possibly POI#1.

Well, there must have been other children around because it was apparently children who told someone about the man with the candy. Also, there was an eleven year old who saw the man put Cupcake into the SUV.

So this is what I question. I’m sure LE knows but I’m unaware that it’s been clarified publicly, but what EXACTLY did the 11 year old see?

Did he see someone putting a little girl about that size in the SUV and realized later, when the adults couldn’t find Cupcake that it must have been her? Or did he physically see that it was his sister as she was being put in the SUV and run and get help?

IIRC the 11 yr. old was only mentioned. Only when the video came out it was then known there was another child with Cupcake.
