AL AL - Kimberly Arrington, 16, Montgomery, 30 Oct 1998

  • #21
Police report that Kimberly Arrington was last seen on Oct. 30, 1998 at the CVS pharmacy at Third Street and Forest Avenue. Her father Walter Arrington Jr. said that people took to the teenager easily, describing her as personable and “well-liked.”

Arrington’s mother, who was the last to see her before she left for the pharmacy that evening, died in 2005, still searching for her missing child.

About a year after her disappearance, local police asked the FBI to assist on the case. But, her whereabouts remain a mystery to this day.

Missing black women's cases are often unsolved, underreported. Here are 7 from Montgomery

Human traffickers usually stick around parking lots, I remember some girl saying she almost got kidnapped in a van in a parking lot, this case is so sad and I don't think we will ever find out what happened to her,

This is a strange one. What could have possibly happened to her?

Human trafficking/random kidnapping is the only thing i can think of since she had no known enemies and was often at home

Arrington was 5'4'' and 110 pounds. She was wearing a gray Bugle Boy shirt with a collar, light blue jeans and white Reebok sneakers with gray trim.
What is a Bugle Boy shirt? a Google search provides images of shirts that are of various colours and fabrics.

I'm surprised no one saw anything, even though the police claim to have conducted dozens of interviews and the facts seem to indicate that Kimberly didn't run away... The description of her Bugle Boy t-shirt and her nickname "Kiwi" saddened me to no end... I suppose CVS could have reviewed receipts from those few hours to see if there were any matching purchases... In addition to interviewing customers, they could have found out if she ever came to the store... I believe the police spent many hours knocking on doors, meeting all the requirements... The bottom line is that the police didn't suspect a child predator, probably because, statistically, a pedophile who preys on 3-year-old girls is unlikely to target post-pubescent victims... For all we know, they could have been investigating "sex offenders" who better fit this profile... but I think she was abducted... The fact that she simply disappeared on the way to the store indicates that someone grabbed her... I hope someday this case is solved...

Apparently near the cvs there's a massive highway that links to far away states. Most likely abducted.
