Since the Aniah thread is locked up, seeing this one pop up on the forum caught my attention.

Then reading through with people speculating a connection it made me wonder...

Near the area where Aniah was found, weren't there 2 bodies found not terribly long ago? A lot of people were speculating that the area is a dumping ground for the gang that has been connected with the case...since AB has presumably been found, the police have spent A LOT of time in the area (more than they typically would for finding a body that has just been dumped) and there have been a large number of agencies involved..I'm starting to wonder if they've uncovered something massive that they haven't released yet...like a dumping ground that has been tossed around as a possibility.

That might very well be the case, but we just don't know at this moment.
Do you have a source stating they are spending lots of time there? Like more than normally would be expected?

They've been out there for over 72 hours straight, with all sorts of agencies coming in, them bringing portable lights in, etc. All sorts of media has been out there, as well.

Seems like a lengthy amount of time if the body was just dumped, but I could be wrong.

Are you around in that area, or how do you know?
Not trying to be snarky, but genuinely wondering since I haven't that been stated anywhere.

Also, I wanted to put together a list of people going missing in the Montgomery/Auburn area the last couple of years.
Does anyone know if we can specify search results on this site to Alabama or any other geographical area?
Thnx!

Thank you, I'll read up on those accounts.
And yes, It's really worrysome :(

Thank you all for starting/responding to this thread. Over the last few weeks I know I’ve personally thought so much about what Aniah’s mother must be going through (having three daughters of my own) and my heart breaks for her but then I get on this thread and think Lord...it could be so much worse. To be looking for your missing child is no doubt horrifically unimaginable but to be doing that without the help of your community, media attention and LE...like this young woman’s mother most likely is for over a year now....I just...there are no words.

Anyone else think it's out of the ordinary?

Seems like we’re not alone in that thought.

In regards to Lakira- there is so little info out there. What is the latest that we know about her case?

Do you happen to know the names of the other 2 deceased individuals who were also found close by where AB was? I was going to research them a bit if you knew. :)

Edward Reeves and Kendrick Stokes. Their bodies were found on Co Rd 13 which is 10-12 miles from where Aniah’s body was found. So it was very close.

From the info discussed on the WS case about them, it appears they spent time at the Sky Bar, and one of them was driving a Honda CRV when they disappeared. Interesting the references made to the Sky Bar in Aniah Blanchard’s case and that she was carjacked for her Honda CRV. Seems like a couple of odd similarities. Also them being found not too far from where she was found seems noteworthy. But that’s all just moo...

I was thinking along the same lines. Too many coincidences and overlap between various cases in that area, MOO.

I think there also may be a sky bar in Montgomery in addition to the one discussed in the Aniah Blanchard case. Also, there was the killing and dumping of human trafficking victim Melissa Metcalf. I think that was her name. She was dumped very close to here in an area known as the tysonville loop. Which is basically a right off exit 22 instead of a left where Aniah Blanchard was found.

Does anyone have any MSM articles that link the suspect in Aniah's case to Lakira? I've tried looking, but couldn't find anything. IMO, It is a very interesting connection.

I don’t think they’re going to let that come out yet. Apparently there is a lot of chatter on SM.
