Opp police say the Elba Police Department reported 36-year-old Louis Swinger as last seen over the weekend while traveling to Opp.

Authorities say Swinger's vehicle, a gray 2008 Chrysler Sebring with a Coffee County (19) license plate, was last seen in Opp.

Swinger is reportedly 6-feet tall and 300 pounds. He is reported to have a tattoo above his right eye though it's not clear what the tattoo is of.

Police now say the 36-year-old’s body was found by law enforcement around 8:15 p.m. Friday in a wooded area at the intersection of Cantaline Road and Woodall Mill Road.

Four men have been arrested and charged with murder in the case - a 22-year-old, 20-year-old, 19-year-old and an 18-year-old - all residents of Opp.

WSFA : 4 arrested, charged with murder of missing south AL man

Investigation revealed that Swinger was lured to an apartment on Hardage Circle where he was shot and killed. Police said his vehicle was dumped behind a house on Walding Road, and his body was hidden in a wooded area.

Missing Elba man found dead in Opp

Police arrested 22-year-old Keli Jamar Siler, 20-year-old Romaro Head, 19-year-old Dayshaun Silar and 18-year-old Kenyatta Carstarphen, all from Opp. They are charged with murder.

"These are young men, and in essence, from my point of view, they're throwing their lives away," said Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald.
