Man from 2011 missing person case arrested in Mobile
''Martin Hugh Sackler was reported missing about nine years ago from Gulfport, Mississippi. According to the Charley Project, his family’s last contact with him was on October 30, 2004.

In 2011, there was a confirmed report that he made a purchase in Mobile according to the Charley Project.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office arrested Sackler on Saturday, April 25, 2020 for giving a false name to officers. He is currently under Mississippi safekeeping.''

Sackler's family last heard from him on October 30, 2004. He was in Gulfport, Mississippi at the time. It was established that he made a purchase in Mobile, Alabama sometime in 2011, but his family hasn't heard from him since 2004 and his current whereabouts are unknown.

At the time of this disappearance, Sackler often traveled to Louisiana for work. Long Beach, Mississippi police are investigating his case''
 
Has there been any update on why he vanished? or why the alias name? falling down the rabbit hole on missing persons case and this one has been on my mind i looked online but couldnt find anything other than the original post

And it says Martin Sackler was arrested for giving a false name?! Wonder what the result was of that arrest. I didn't know you could be arrested for such a thing, but then again, I don't know about American law. At any rate, his Charley project page now says "Last updated April 29, 2020; case resolved." so perhaps we should close this page as well?
