MCSO Captain Paul Burch says the first time they spoke with him he didn't want to give them a mouth swab for DNA. Burch says when they went back a second time with a court order to get the DNA Pollock was nowhere to be found.

"We went to collect the swab and found out he had quit his job of 22 years packed up and moved and we can't find him," he said.
Burch says that makes them question what Pollock's avoiding. "That's very odd behavior," he said. "You just don't quit your job that you've been at for 22 years and just pack up and move."
