Here’s the thing...they said no security footage with her leaving. Did they say for sure she wasn’t seen by the human eye. I read the Tim Roof has one camera - behind the bar. If so, maybe that’s why there’s no footage of her leaving?!

Since the police say no men were seen on security footage leaving with her and they never asked for the public’s help in identifying them. I feel strongly that was made up and I feel like someone else sent that text from her phone. Whether it was an accidental overdose or something more, sounds like someone was trying to cover their butt. IMO

IIRC, they have never stated one way or another if they have PH on video...in the bar...leaving alone...leaving with anyone. The only thing they did confirm is that they could not find anyone who matched the suspects on video.

The reason I believe that is because if she was unknown to the person they'd just dump her body. But if she was seen with them or they cared abt her they buried her due to remorse, shame, and in the hope the body wont be found and tied back to them. I may be way out in left field that us just my thoughts on the female body being wrapped in cloth and buried. And again we do NOT know who this is I am just presuming this due to the condition of the unidentified body

Yes, in order not to get caught hiding a body is best, more remote location the better. I'm wondering if they transported her in her own car so DNA evidence isn't found in theirs?

It’s hard to imagine any kind of care taken in the disposal considering the location where she was left, as it’s basically a garbage dump, moo.

BBM - what they were reported to have looked like. Maybe the suspects didn't even look like heavy set black guys? Maybe this is where all of the confusion started, reports based on memories blurred from drinking and partying? jmo

My observations about the site:

The house does not look like it was abandoned or vacant for long.

The grass looks like it has been mowed within about a month.

The fridge and carpet appears to be dumped, which happens when someone is too cheap to pay to haul stuff to the waste station.

If the bags of garbage are from another household, it will likely have identifying information in it.

The bottles and cups in the garbage likely have fingerprints which could belong to squatters or at least people who may have visited the location, could help with a recent timeline.

Mail in the mailbox. The post office does not continue to deliver mail once they realize the address is vacant. They place a hold on it and the carrier often leaves a notice in the mailbox.

Mail can still be delivered to a vaccant house if the regular carrier is off. Mail still comes to these vaccant homes and is often not caught by the machines. Some companies do not update their mailing lists. If the carrier is not organized the house may not be marked as vaccant on the mail case which could also allow mail to end up at the home.

A picture I posted earlier shows the house has seen a big decline in condition. Media reports stated that a person had been living there but was moved out by family.

Not necessarily -- I think a body is typically wrapped for transport -- meaning she was killed/deceased elsewhere and not the location where body recovered. MOO

BREAKING: Body exhumed from ‘small hole,’ possible connection to missing Alabama woman, Paighton Houston

Alabama law enforcement officials exhumed a body on Friday afternoon, found buried at a residential area in Hueytown.

According to law enforcement, a tip in connection with missing Trussville woman Paighton Houston led them to location. On Friday afternoon, the Jefferson County Coroner and Jefferson County District Attorney, Danny Carr, arrived at the residence off of Chapel Drive, near the corner of Love Street.

At around 1:55 p.m., Jefferson County Bessemer Cutoff District Attorney confirmed that a body wrapped in fabric was exhumed from a shallow hole. The body was of an “intact” female but identification is pending.

Hueytown is around 15 miles south of the Tin Roof bar in Birmingham, the last place missing 29-year-old Paighton Houston, of Trussville, was supposedly last seen. According to the Trussville Tribune, a tip regarding Houston led authorities to the Hueytown area.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, a coworker reportedly said she went to the Tin Roof bar with Houston on December 20 after they got off work. Someone later contacted Houston’s family and said Houston was last seen leaving the bar at around 10:45 p.m. with “two heavy set black males.” Houston’s family then called 911 and relayed the information.

According to Sergeant Johnny Williams with the Birmingham Police Department, authorities did not see Houston on security footage with two men. They have not found anyone matching their descriptions, Williams said. It’s unclear whether police spotted Houston on security footage at all.
