I've tried to skim the earliest and most recent posts so forgive me if this was discussed- has her phone been found? Or, any info released on where it pinged? I'm curious if 1) PH's text to the friend actually exists and 2) if it does, was it actually PH using her phone. JMO.

There has been no report of her phone being found or that it was looked for on the cellular network; this may have been done by LE (I HOPE so) but I don't believe any info on the phone has been reported in MSM. In fact, as far as the text goes, we only have the co-worker's word for it.

Speaking of rules and etiquette, how is accusing a young woman of faking her abduction NOT a violation of the TOS?

News update from a couple hours ago. The most intriguing thing is that we now have a reason why no surveillance video has been released of these two men. That’s because law enforcement can’t find them on it.

This description apparently came from her friend, but we don’t know if other people have corroborated it or not.

Regardless, the lack of video is intriguing.

as long as its just a theory being kicked around and not finger pointing, its ok. we can share ideas but not slander.

Is it a potential scenario? Has it ever happened before?

Yes and yes. I think all options should be entertained.

A member who visits WS only to incite "conflict" will be designated a "troll", and find his/her account temporarily or permanently suspended. This includes use of the Private Message system via comments such as Check your PMs or PM me posted in discussion threads.

Think about it - it's like whispering into someone's ear while you are at a table full of other people. If you want to have a private conversation just have it. Don't announce it.

Well, if we can trust MSM we now have 1 FACT: PH left the bar alone.
The rest is still just the word of a co-worker. Truth is, this forum is now mis-named.

Well, there we have it!!

The reporter states BPD has spoke to some people who were at the bar that night, but still need to speak to more people and are urging them to come forward.
I apologize for criticizing LE regarding not putting out stills/video of the two men, I'm pretty sure I see where this is heading.

Yeah, I had no doubt they would have spoken to everyone they could. I was curious in regards to the lack of video/stills too, but if it doesn’t exist, it doesn’t exist.

Part of the confusion is from the media, imo. The headline says "Houston leaving bar alone" but I didn't hear any of that said in the video. I thought LE said they couldn't confirm the two heavy set black guys - did they also say that Paighton left alone? Confused!

Yeah, I’m wondering if the station took liberties there.

Then again, it stands to reason that she was likely captured on video, both entering and leaving. So if that’s true, and there are no men matching the description caught on video (as law enforcement has apparently said), then it’s reasonable to believe that she did walk out the door alone.

So either way, I tend to buy it.

Now that is sketchy puts things in a different light.

How Susan Smith-esque (description) ...

So if she did walk out the door alone and had no car then where did she go and how did she get there? With these people that she didn't know?

I think the reporter did take liberties because she knows more than she's reporting, as most do.

How Susan Smith-esque (description) ...

I don't like it personally.

It’s one thing to think she left with two men she was possibly chatting with... a whole different thing altogether when LE realizes that there’s NO one matching that description at the bar that night... I think this may unravel fast now that this is coming to light... praying for a miracle though
