I'll have to see if I can find a link where I read that it was an older son (around 24 yo) who recorded the beating. Plus, this mother was cursing at the poor kid, too. Not very Christian-like at all. (I came from a generation where my parents didn't curse or smoke or drink in the house! ) This older son said that the same thing happened to him throughout his childhood. So, apparently, this mother has always had an anger issue.

A former Alabama "Teacher of the Year," Randi Nicole Staples, has been arrested and fired after a horrific video of her allegedly beating her 12-year-old son with a belt was shared on social media by the boy's older brother. I read at another link that a younger sibling recorded it, sent it to adult brother Jackson, who then reported the abuse and provided the video to authorities. Per his statements at your link, this has been a practice of his mother's for many years, dating back to his own childhood.

Someone has some very serious anger management issues. Wait'll she gets a taste of being abused if/when she goes to jail.

I wasn't endorsing prison abuse. I was pointing out that it exists and she's not going to like it one bit.
