i personally feel she is guilty.......

the prosecutor is to blame for this....and of course the detective that did not tape record the confession if it exists.........but the evidence is overwhelming imo..........even without the "confession"......she's walking due to the detective's iffy reputation and the prosecutor not revealing it

it's a shame :(

sorry o/t

Court in recess until Wednesday. Defense will put on their case then.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 9m9 minutes ago

Main prosecution witness was Heather Walker, Savannah Hardin's birth mother.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 8m8 minutes ago

She said she believes Joyce Garrard should receive the death penalty for Savannah Hardin's death.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 7m7 minutes ago

"Her life shouldn't be spared because she didn't think twice about what she was doing."

Just read on Justice for Savannah Hardin FB page will have someone at courthouse all day. (paraphrased) It's been very quiet on Savannah's page today. I also noticed that one of the JfSH FB community's 'likes' is Wild About Trial!

I'm so sorry! I was referring to the information I posted about the death of the last child in the NY Bronyx house fire. My information was incorrect.

...in his career. defense attorney Rhea asked of the pending capital cases in Etowah County, could he name the ones that weren't cruel?

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 18m18 minutes ago

State objected. Questioning over.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 18m18 minutes ago

Heather Walker testified that in 2years she was apart from Savannah, she tried several times to call. Number finally disconnected.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 17m17 minutes ago

When she came to Alabama for custody hearings, she left presents at the door. Had no way of knowing if Savannah got them.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 17m17 minutes ago

She was a very compelling witness, and easy to understand why she talked rapidly and had to be reminded to speak up.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 17m17 minutes ago

She has remarried, has two children and two step children.

WilliamThornton @billineastala · 16m16 minutes ago

She said The Daily Beast contacted her and she gave an interview to clear up misconceptions and misinformation about Savannah.

from testimony this morning, another eyewitness to the event:

Hudgins said he exchanged words with Roger Simpson, a neighbor of the Garrards. Hudgins said Simpson told him "something was going on" with the child, but he was afraid to say anything because Garrard had threatened in the past to "blow his brains out." Simpson has since died.

thank god this man came forward at the last minute and spoke for this neighbor who now cannot!!!

this woman is vile :furious: i bet not one person in that courtroom doubted his testimony for a second either........she exudes evil

"The child's father, Robert Hardin, was in Pakistan as a contract employee and on his way back. But it took calling a Gadsden hospital to learn the child was at Children's of Alabama."

Joyce and Jessica Hardin
would have never called Savannah's mom to let her know that her baby girl was dying!
Thank god that the hospital called her and got a hold of her so she could see her one lat time..:(

As for the loser/absentee father is he ever going to show his face ? ?
