Found Safe AL - Shirley Vanosdol, 56, Flomaton, 5 Sept 2017

The Flomaton Police Department needs the public’s help in locating a woman that went missing on Sept. 5.

According to a FPD Facebook post, Shirley Ann Vanosdol, 56, of Leakesville, Miss., was staying on Wiley Drive in Flomaton, and today, family members who reported having last contact with Vanosdol on Sept. 5 contacted the FPD.

“During this time, Vanosdol made a statement that she was afraid,” the post said.


The FPD found a cell phone that is believed to belong to Vanosdol at her residence on Wiley Drive. Additionally, Vanosdol didn’t have a vehicle to travel in, according to the FPD.

Those with information about Vanosdol, contact the FPD at 251-296-5811.
