Alabama State Trooper arrested on child pornography charges days after retiring

ALEA says he retired from the Highway Patrol Division on March 1, just days before being arrested in Talladega County on March 10.

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has confirmed that a former state trooper retired days before being arrested on child charges in Talladega County.

On Feb. 14, ALEA was made aware of an arrest warrant for Claybrook and immediately began the process to terminate his employment. ALEA says Claybrook retired from the Highway Patrol Division effective March 1, prior to his scheduled termination conference.
