I can't find anything about this missing plane online. I also can't find Mr Corbitt listed in records but can find a man with the same name but last name spelled Corbett, same year of birth. Wonder if this is him? Addresses listed much later than lka date though...

I've found what I think is this Mr Corbett's facebook last updated in 2011, so this isn't the same person. Unless Billy Ray Corbett survived the missing plane incident.
