Aliens Are Monitoring Our Nukes, Worry Ex-Air Force Officers

  • #21
I have read that NBC's The Event is actually about UFO's and disclosure. I watched it Monday and it was intriguing-next Monday will make more sense I'm sure.
Question-Do you think Obama knows or is he being kept in the dark also? Who do you think holds the truth and are keeping it from us?:waitasec:

I think "they" don't think "we" can handle the truth or maybe "they" are afraid of losing control!

That's very interesting.
I've always thought all the presidents "know" . We once joked that was why they went in looking young and shortly thereafter, looked aged. What they learned was so shocking.
We can bet our behinds there are agencies we have no clue exist.

As to your last question, I think it's the control issue. Humans are pretty adaptable beings.
imo

I'd have to see some pretty strong evidence to believe this. I don't believe in UFOs or Aliens. Never have.

A lot of people have reported sightings, everyone from astronauts, police officers, pilots, military officials and thousands of everyday people from all over the world. These people can't all be delusional. If there was nothing then why does the government have thousands of classified files they won't share with the public? We have only scratched the surface when it comes to outer space, the Universe seems like a lot of space for just one civilization.

jmho, but this is a vast universe and I belive in other life forms..

I just hope they are freindly :p

If human history is any guide (and it may not be, I realize), then beings with the technology to get here would have had to find a way to live in peace to avoid destroying themselves. Of course, the jury is still out on us.

FWIW, my uncle was a career Air Force pilot, eventually rising to the rank of colonel. Whenever the subject of UFOs came up, he would leave the room without a word. Now maybe he thought the talk was all hogwash, but it certainly appeared he was avoiding the subject because there were things he didn't want to talk about.

Both. Maybe it's a faith thing. I never read about Aliens being created in Genesis.

Somewhere in the beginning of Genesis (no pun intended), it mentions the "sons of God" coming down to visit Earth. While most Christians believe that's a reference to angels, there is a smaller (but growing) group that believes it's a reference to aliens life forms. (Once upon a time I dated a guy whose church believed that.)

Times are definetly changing opinions-even the Vatican is opening up to the idea of alien life forms.
Pope's astronomer insists alien life 'would be part of God's creation'

The Vatican's official newspaper has endorsed the possibility that the universe could contain intelligent life beyond Earth, while insisting that aliens would be "our brothers" and "children of God" as much as human beings are.

The Pope's astronomer, José Gabriel Funes, a Jesuit priest, told L'Osservatore Romano that there would be nothing surprising about the existence of intelligent extra-terrestrials.

"Just as there is a multiplicity of creatures on Earth, so there could be other beings created by God [beyond it]," he said. The interview suggests that the Church's hierarchy may be paving the way to showing that Pope Benedict XVI is more open to the ideas of modern science than he has previously seemed to be.

Pope Benedict has spoken in favour of "intelligent design" in the past and has damned evolutionary ideas that leave no room for God.

I'm not calling them delusional. I just don't bellieve in it. MOO

Ah, but Ezekiel saw that wheel... :)

I don't pretend to know what it was Ezekial saw. But, I don't believe it was a UFO. MOO

Faith and beliefs are personal things. I personally do not believe in it. Like I said, I don't pretend to know all, I'd just need to see strong evidence of it. I'm not part of that growing group, I'm a Christian that believes they were angels.
Now, I know some very radical Christian groups that believe UFOs were coming to get them. Mass suicides. But, they were left behind. Unless maybe the aliens just came and got their souls??? IDK
I believe Jesus will come get me. And He will not be on a UFO.

IMHO only, I have no reason to believe that God would not have created other intelligent beings. I think it would be presumptuous to believe that. The bible does not say that God stopped creating after Earth.

As for whether aliens have come to earth to shut down nuclear weapons, I have no clue, but much worse things could happen for sure.

I'll look forward to Monday, as well as the air force response.:waitasec:

Who knows, maybe they'll have that evidence I'm waiting for.

BBM I personally believe it does.

Genesis 2:1-3 says:
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. 2 By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

I think that if it says the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts...then that means it was COMPLETE. Nothing to add. It was the way God wanted it.

It's just what I believe. I'm not trying to say anybody is wrong here. Just trying to explain why I believe the way I do.

If they do have proof I doubt very seriously it will come out Monday, the government doesn't think to highly of these kind of things.

The Bible only tells us things that are important to our eternal life, aliens I don't think are included in that. The bible also doesn't mention cars or airplanes but we have them. In many Hieroglyphs and cave drawings you see what appears to be UFO's. I am not an alien freak, never seen one and honestly don't care if they exsist or not. I do think it is kinda arrogant to beleive we are the only ones in this vast Universe, I also hate the fact that if they are real that the government feels they need to control what we need to know.

Cars and airplanes were not created by God. People were. The people created airplanes and cars with knowlege.

I'm not following how that can be compared to alien creation.

And, I don't think beleiving something or having faith in something is being arrogant.

As I've said before, I'm not trying to change anybody beliefs, and mine are not likely to change anytime soon. Unless, I see evidence to prove different.

If that's looked at as being arrogant or presumptuous I'm sorry. It's what I believe.

What I am saying is God didn't tell us everything, he also didn't mention dinosaurs in the Bible but we know they were here.

Maybe arrogant was the wrong word but what I am trying to say is that people in general seem to think that if we can't figure it out than its not real. We don't beleive other planets contain life because we can't figure out how they could survive with more or less sunshine, or no water or without oxygen, yet even here on earth all living organisms do not rely on the same things to survive. Arrogant may have been a harsh word but I can't think of the word I need. I wasn't trying to be hateful, I just mispoke.

Dinosaurs were animals. Animals were created on day 6.

I believe in a lot of things that can't be proven, it called Faith. That Faith comes from what I read in the Bible. I have never seen anything in the Bible that tells me of little green men in flying saucers. So, that will have to be proven. SO FAR, it has not.

I can't prove Angels are real. But I have faith they are.
I can't prove there is a Heaven, but in my heart, I know there is. Again, my faith.
I can't prove God is real...but...(so on and so on)

We will just have to agree to disagree on this issue.

Could it be something that another country has created to monitor the USA. Perhaps they are man made creatures. In cases of abduction they are taken somewhere for testing, could be to develop a new type of human or for medical testing we are unaware of. I think there could be a plausible explaination but it may be so advanced or controversal that were not ready for it.

A new type of human created by humans?

I don't know. I guess it's possible that it could be some kind of lab created life form that was created by mixing and messing with what was already here. I'd be much more able to believe that than God created aliens. But, it's still kinda far fetched IMO.

I would not have believed humans could clone things either before that happened.
Who knows.

The human mind is a wonderful complex thing. But, it can be dangerous is not used correctly.

Sorry human was not the correct name for them but another type of living being. It sounded good when I typed it

The bible is full of stories about angels descending from the sky, and ya got Ezekiel recieving information from a wheel in the sky, Moses..etc..

Maybe it's just "our bible" ...perhaps the story is much the same for other worlds and God tweeked it from time to time. Surely, He can't be proud of His creation here on Earth or He simply has a twisted sense of humor.
