dcorrigano, I understand what you're saying but I don't think he's wanting attention taken from Caylee -- he thanked the media for keeping her case front-center. But fact is other children are missing and they're barely mentioned after the first couple of weeks or so. I'm sure no family wants their home and lives to be turned into a circus, but the media shouldn't forget about these children - not any of them. His statement about how she's probably changed broke my heart, and it confirmed (for me) that LP is right when he's said GA most likely doesn't know anything about what really happened.

Of course, he thanks the media. His violence is getting him press. You don't believe me - listen to Casey's 911 call. One sentence is "the media is here." The next "my dad is going outside."

George claims to be an ex-cop. Ex cops are taught how NOT to lose their cool. Obviously he missed that class. Look how the police respond - do they go in with hoses and hammers? No, they keep their cool.

This is not about Caylee to teh Anthonys and never has been - it's about protecting Casey. Look at the psychology of all this. Casey sits inside doing nothing and enjoying her freedom and lets her parents get all upset and scream and yell expletives at people. Who is unaffected by all of this - Casey. What does that tell you. She's enjoying this. She wants to see her parents lose it - I think she even instigates it.

If George and Cindy would just take a step back and look at why the protesters are there, they would kick Casey out of their house and backl to jail. It's very clear to any outsider. If Casey were not living at that house, there would be very few, if any protesters. Casey does not belong there with her six hour visits with Jose and her 24/7 computer excapades with her friend. Next, we'll have Jose taking her to the clubs.

George and Cindy. Your behavior is horrible and your language is worse. Boot that ungrateful daughter of yours out of your house and back to jail. It means you will have to give up the limelight for a while, but it will allow more time for searching for Caylee.

If he were going to crack he would have done so a lot sooner, I personally think he is having a hard time being in the home with Kc no one seems to remember the statements made by her friends in mentioning her father. And while everyone else may not remember I am sure Ga does.

1 she said she could not stand her father.

2 He was supposedly having a relationship with another woman.

3 His behavior with her mother was why she had not been home in all that time, remember drammma

I don't think I would trust her very far if I were him jmo
Tony said KC told him that CA had told Kc she was so glad Tony was there for Kc through all of this!!

Now I might have been told not to discuss the crime with KC but she would sure as #### have to tell me why she told such tales on me.

I have to wonder if George WAITING for the camera before going outside like he did the night Casey called 911. This whole family jneeds some serious help and I don't mean physically. They are just TOO eager tp mix it up. They remind me of gang members who start a fight because someone "dissed" them. That is not what ADULT, NON-GANG MEMBERS do - or what Christian people doi. jmo

EXACTLY!! No matter what the Anthonys do, they are wrong So people with an agenda to create chaos get to scream and yell at them, call them horrible names and cause fights... all in the name of a missing little girl. I'm sure Caylee would be very upset at how her grandparents are being treated.
The peaceful protestors I have no problem with. The ones I do have a problem with are the ones who go in with both guns blazing and are there to start a riot. I don't care HOW much one disapproves of the family... it does not give them the right to vandalize and harrass someone day and night. Who could blame them if they are pushed past their limit and strike back. It's human nature. But hey! It's LEGAL to protest.. the protestors' rights can't be denied! Their rights to protest supercede the Anthonys rights to live without fear that their home will be set fire to, or bombed, or someone gunning them down, right? Or maybe someone barging in some night and lynching every one of them on the spot, right? Oh, yeah... we MUST protect the public's rights!!
Bull-loney!!!!!!

As adults, the Anthonys are not responsible for their own actions. "Sticks and stones"

I can hardly wait until they are all charged with obstructing an investigation...bring in the Paddy Wagon! They are all horrible rotten people in my opinion. They don't care at all what happened to Caylee, they just want to protect themselves. From what? Somebody has got something on someone in that family that they don't want to get out. I wonder what it is??? IMO
I agree. There are BIG skeletons in their closets and Casey knows what they are and is holding it over their heads. Put her back in jail. No one will believe her anyone since I'm surprised she even gave her right name when arrested. She couldn't tell the truth if her life depended on it. Wait, it does and she still can't tell the truth.

Of course GA waited for the Camera -

The Anthony's only perform when there is a Camera in front of them otherwise they feel they are just wasting their time-

They are working very hard at portraying themselves as victims & drumming up sympathy

I'm sure Casey's defense fund donations got a huge spike after that incident

The laughter I saw from George wasn't happy laughter, imo. It looked nervous and forced. I can understand that he prob'ly feels a little better having his neighbors standing by him and his family.

I'm betting the Anthony's were proud people before all this mess happened. Now all their family secrets are thrown out for the world to inspect. It's humbling, I'm sure. I think George was doing the forced holding head up, I saw shame in him like a beaten junkie. He and Cindy are junkies of their daughter. They can't help themselves on that part- loving Casey.

I do think he needs to stop a minute and think of his neighbors and the Gaurdian Angels out there trying to help him. This is not the time for him to try and regain his dignity, it's time for him to step back and be grateful to those there trying to help him and his family. Let them help and try and stay out of the way. Don't do things that will just stir the pot! It helps nothing and hurts those trying to help him and his.

Their pride and their daughter is ruining them and making them lose sight of the focus. That foucus is their beautiful grandbaby Caylee. I get so many emotions watching this mess! Sadness, anger, frustration, shock...
Darn that Casey! Look at the power we've ALL given that brat. grrrr
But he just "bleeping" has to answer a protester and start something.

I agree with you, but I actually think that giving water to his neighbors might be his way of saying, ''Thanks guys, I appreciate it the help...''.

But people are so angry at the Anthony's and at their way of dealing with EVERYTHING, they won't even give them the benefit of the doubt, on ANYTHING. They just can't do right.

I don't think GA and CA are bad people... But whatever they believe they have to do or however they handle any situation, most people won't TRY to understand that maybe it goes a little further then what we see and we just don't know everything ...

To me, this is all very very sad...

I hope none of us ever gets judge like that.

Think of this. George was LE for ELEVEN years. During that time, he would not be allowed to respond to people just like the OCSD are not rsponding to their taunts. George would have been TRAINED to not respond, yet he jumps at the chance to respond to anything now. All that training for naught. It's a waste of resources imo.

Vandalism is illegal. Peaceful protest is legal. Arrest the ones who are crossing the legal line. Ignore the peaceful ones.

But, DO point out to the As that enabling KC is keeping it going. My guess is that they keep bailing KC out partly because hey are AFRAID she'll crack and say something. if she stays in jail.

If they keep going out with hammers, baseball bats, and water hoses. they are giving the protestors EXACTLY what they want!

Now, if I was the family, I'd offer the protestors brownies and lemonade. JUST to confuse them, and make them look bad, because I was being such a saint!

I feel the same way.
Look at it this way. WHEN did he do it? Did he do it in the heat of the day? No, he did it when the cameras were running as usual. Wonder who called the media to "get this on camera" moo

In real life I've dealt with having a creepy pathological liar inside the 4 walls and creepy scary people outside, on the property.

The only lasting irreversible damage came from the pathological liar. It's amazing the limits to which people, can consider other people as disposable commodities and act accordingly.

Just my personal experience. Every case is different...

They don't want KC back in jail. Despite their complaints about the protestors, they seem to be encouraging the attention. If the protestors go away, they get ignored.

Now that I'm reading the theories suggesting Casey never stole the gas cans and George never looked in the trunk on 6/24, I'm beginning to see how that fits with other circumstantial things. LP says Lee told his parents not to take a lie detector test.. George wouldn't want to if he had lied.. wonder if he objected too. Also, I still remember his face when he was telling GVS about the gas cans... "there they were, in my daughter's trunk". The look on his face was like, "tsk, tsk, tsk. when will that girl learn??" Something struck me as odd then, and now I'm beginning to form a reason why.

On the other hand, all of this seems to be refuted by the very first page or two of the 400-page document that states, on 7/16 after Casey took cops on a wild goose chace, they took Casey back home and George approached saying he was worried his daughter was holding back information.

But aren't the camera always there camped out at the house just waiting for something to film??? I'm serious, not being argumentative, just asking.

  • #195
Listening to Cindy's description...it sounded to me like they were supportive of not being able to ask because it might implicate them, too. Did I take it wrong or misunderstand in some way what she was trying to say? (Sorry, I don't have a clue where the video is now...I think she was hammering in a no tres. sign at the time tho.)
I hope parents and grandparents of missing children are watching this case and learning what NOT to do. I have seen no case like this with the behavior of the missing child's family. Most families conduct themselves wit h some dignity. SAd to say that this is not the case with this family. Therefore, they7 have alienated most of the public. Their insane defense of a liar by harboring her in their home infuriates people. Their actions are saying to Casey that it doesn't matter if you killed our granddaughter or not. We will prortect you to our dying day. Kick that ungrateful child of yours out of your house and let her stand on her own two ffet for once in her life. Your life will improve vastly.

Some are, some are not. The night that the Anthony alleged they were hit, Casey said on the 911 call. The media are here. The trucks may be parked there 24/7 but they are not usually manned 24/7.

LOVE IT!!!!! In particular, make Casey make the brownies and tell the protesters they are from her.

The problem is that the Anthonys are egging the protesters on and they won't stop. If the protesters didn't get a response, do you think they'd stay? Like a child wanting negative attention, they would go away.

WE seem to be dropped ino some alternate reality where right is wrong and wrong is right. Is that Anthonyland? moo

Heaven forbid Casey gets away with it and gets to smirk at the cameras like Joren has. :behindbar

His parents seem to act in a similar way.

Interesting that this was brought up today. I was just thinking how much alike Joran's parents and the A's are as it regards to believing their child and IMHO helping that child by obstructing justice.

At least the VDS's didn't act out by calling people names and shaking hammers at them.

It makes no sense for George to tell people he wants them to continue looking for Caylee when they practically chased TES out of town on a rail.:waitasec:

I don't think the cameras were running, I think HE made them run. George called the media.

I can only tell you what went on the Laci Peterson case. The media were parked outside the house 24/7, but the employees were at the hotels sleeping peacefully. How do I know? I made deliveries to them at the hotels. The media trucks stay there for position only. They are not manned unless something is going on . They come out for the evening and late night news broadcases, but they don't work 24/7.
