All About George

MOO has definitely changed after hearing G's interview. He is the only one that actually answers the questions directly and IMO, HONESTLY.

I almost cried several times while listening to the emotion in his voice.
It sounded like he and Cindy were finally pulling together and trying to provide a stable home for Caylee. Maybe they were on the verge of finally giving Casey the boot, and attempting to repair some of the damage she had caused (financially, emotionally, mentally).

Casey the ultimate thief stole everything from them. TRAGIC situation!

I agree. He is the only one who answers questions directly...and appears completely honest with LE and himself. There's no doubt he has a strong minded wife and daughter....God bless him. Sounds like a good man who was trying to do right by his family in every aspect, and nows he gotten screwed. I hope and pray this man will some day be able to recover from the trauma of this whole situation. I didn't cry while listening to the interview...I did cry when I saw him lose it with the reporter who talked about Caylee being dead. I saw then and there his pain and desperation to find his granddaughter.

Gosh...if only George hadn't told Casey he was going to get something from her trunk...I wonder what he would have found...and if Caylee might never have disappeared. I can't help but wonder if Caylee was in the trunk (drugged) and that's why Casey was so adament to get the device he needed herself.

I haven't seen this discussed. If this is a duplicate, please feel free to merge mods. Where is this interview with George?? I read through every document and interview I could find, but have not seen this particular interview with George. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Desperate to his find his daughter, George Anthony described how he chased Casey Anthony on State Road 408 in late June -- more than two weeks before Caylee was reported missing to authorities. He said he was tired of her "evasiveness."

"I saw her leaving [the house] in my wife's vehicle," George Anthony said in an Aug. 4 interview with cops. "I saw her driving up Chickasaw and getting on the 408 ... I'm tired of this."

He couldn't remember what day it was and suggested investigators check his E-pass records.

"My daughter was driving fast as she could," he said. "I think she knew I was behind her . . . I was trying to stay a reasonable distance, maybe a 100 yards away from her."

He followed her to Hiawassee and Kirkman roads but lost her.

"I couldn't get over fast enough to find her," he said.

Could have come from the part of the interview with Cindy, when is is told by LE that Casey had Cindy's truck according to George and Cindy didn't seem to remember that. IIRC it was the 25th-26th.

George has known for a long time that Casey hurt Caylee, thus his anger and requite. JMO

George talks about KC taking off in her mother's car and that he followed her onto the 408. I am very curious about this and when it could have occured. How could CA have NOT known about this? With her car missing. GA says that this occured at around 5:30. If he was working the entire time as he has said, then this could have only happened either on a Friday or a Saturday. His days off. I believe that he said that this occured a couple of weeks prior to Caylee going missing so, counting back from July 15th - it could have been June 27th or 28th. I didn't catch which car he said he used to follow her...

Any one else have any thoughts on this?

George has stated that his days off were Friday and Saturday and that while he was working he worked the afternoon shift from 3 - 11 pm. That is why I am assuming that this had to have occured on a Friday or a Saturday. I'm leaning toward the Saturday as CA was not usually home by 5:30 - unless she got off early that Friday, the 27th.

GA's LE statement is missing, and....
he was also, AFTER he picked up the car around ? 1 30 pm, from the tow yard, and did not return home until approx. 10 pm that night ? Where was he, and what was he up to ? Cindy needed him at home for support.

IMO 8 + hrs. is a long time to "drive" around in a smelly car.

I didn't realize this. Great point!

I think Caylee might have been in the trunk, but already dead. But then what about the smell? I don't know. My poor head is spinning.

Listening to George, I fully believe he is helping LE, and being honest..I actually feel like crying for him right now..
He knows...no dout in my mind now..

I do Apologize if I ever said anything hurtful about GA (which I don't think I did).

I still haven't changed my opinion of CA at all. She was still denying and trying to stand up for Casey during that whole interview. She gets made when she says the investigators are 2 1/2 weeks late and Yuri says we are 6 weeks late, and she raises her voice and gets aggresive and says WELL IN MY EYES.

UGH I still can't stand the way she acted during the interview. I think GA will do whatever he has to do, to clear up the lies and make sure the truth comes out.

In the interview GA says that CA told him to go back to work since he had an event to provide security for.......(his job). She said she would handle the situation and Casey.

He called lee and told him to go to the house and check on CA and casey. So Lee did, it is my understanding that when GA was heard on the 911 call in the background that he had just walked in the door from work.

Just listened to George's interview. My understanding is that as he jumped in his car, to chase Casey who was taking Cindy's car, Cindy was telling him not to chase Casey, and George said he was tired of it (Casey's shenaningans) and took off after Casey anyway.

Through the interview, LE says that George told this incident to the FBI in confidence, and LE apologised to George for bringing it up, and a few other times LE apologises for bringing it up to Cindy in her interview.

In Cindy's interview when this is brought up, Cindy flat out denies any knowledge of the incident whatever.

Ok, so my question is, what reason would Cindy have for not wanting anybody to know she was there and fully aware of the incident?

Really has me scratching my head. :waitasec:

You thoughts on this?

I need to apologize also. After listening to GA's interview I really don't think he was involved in this mess. Unless he is a better liar than the rest of the bunch. But I don't really think so at this point. I think the other inconsistencies on Greta and such was because of Cindy. I have a feeling when she tells George to jump he says how high. And I hope he really doesn't get into any trouble by listening to her.

I am listening to George's audio tape and he sounds very honest and tells LE things that Cindy lied about but GA told the truth about. The detective apologizes for mentioning that incident in front of Cindy (it is mentioned on cindy's tape and she lies and says she doesn't know anything about that but she really did).

Everyone in the family seems very honest to me. EVERYONE BUT CINDY! Cindy and Casey are 2 peas in the pod!! Neither knows the truth if it smacks them in the face.
Totally agree about the peas in a pod, And I think Ca is a very strong willed controlling person she tells Ga what he can and can not tell she is the ruler of this kingdom,

do you think for 1 minute if we recovered a car from one of our children and it smelled of death I could shoot my husband back to a job that day????? NO Notta aint gonna happen at my house matter of fact I would most likely be afraid to even suggest such a crazy idea jmo

I thought it was odd that he was not on Cindy's checking account and that is why he had to go to the bank with her to sign his name on his stimulus check from the IRS.

I didn't realize this. Great point!

George wasn't in the car. He called Lee to go to the house because something was going on with Cindy and Casey.

When Lee arrived, the car was in the garage, with the windows rolled down, and the smell was overwhelming, per Lee's interview with LE.

George was very likely in his own car during those hours.

I caught that too and thought it was odd.

I wonder if it's due to his online gambling habit? Can't remember, was there ever an actual statement about that or was it just a rumor or hearsay?

Plenty of couples keep their finances separate. Plenty of couples have separate checking accounts, joint savings accounts. I don't find this odd.
