I don't get the repeated calls to the JC P's credit department. LA says there was some type of purchase on on 6.27. So the first one was to check to see what was left on the card. She buys something or orders somethig. Then on 7.1 she is calling the credit department again two more times and onc more time on 7.2
I thought about her then returning the purchase for cash but department stores refund the card they don't give cash back.
Makes no sense. Unless she was calling the department to speak to someone she knows that works there. It 's just that those are the days when her phone activity and texting spikes plus 6.27 is the day her car gets dumped as best we can tell.
Good grief it makes my head hurt.
Unless things have changed you can use a card to buy something, return it and exchange for something that costs more, then you get a cash receipt which you can then return that item and get cash back for it. Not sure if it still works that way but that was how it worked a few ( 2 - 3) years ago. Does anyone work in retail , they would know.
